  • Under the My Home tab-Goals. Click Change Goals-Custom and you are able to change your calories and your macros
  • I put mine in burrito bowls, enchiladas or make chicken salad for lunch. This week I made Skinnytaste Chicken, Broccoli and Noodle Casserole with it. Delicious!
  • Right. You only need to eat back enough to NET your BMR. How long were you on a VLCD? I completely understand what you mean about not even realizing it. I ate at about 800 cals a day while I was teaching (before MFP) and didn't even realize it. I thought I was being healthy! Have you considered doing a reset?
  • Congrats. Absolutely LOVE it. I have my goals at custom and I still get calorie adjustments. Basically, if you look on your Goals page-on the right it gives you a number that you burn from normal daily activity. Anytime you are trending towards going over this according to Fitbit, you will get a calorie adjustment. This is…
  • My Fitbit has really helped me figure out my TDEE. Most people were surprised at how much more they were burning than they thought, but I was the opposite. I realized I was burning very few calories in my everyday life. I think the best thing to do is complete the reset and your cut with the numbers you are given, and then…
  • Welcome to the group!
  • I agree. I have a VERY sedentary job. On an exercise day I still only burn about 1800 calories and I am lightly active according to my Fitbit.I would definitely set to lightly active and give the reset a go! I also can not exercise frequently because of medical problems and it is working great for me. I am looking forward…
  • Yup. I would start over...not gonna hurt
  • I make a cucumber dill sauce to go along with mine. I find that it masks the "fishy" taste salmon can sometimes have, but complements the good flavors really well.
  • Interesting to see that it is happening to others so far along in the process. I will say that mine finally went away after 5 days, but it sure was a miserable 5 days. Nothing helped it so I just had to stick it out. Good luck!
  • That 2194 is total calories for the day. But you are right: if you NET below your BMR you need to eat those calories back. If you think you won't be able to eat all that much is it possible to cut back on the cardio a bit? Cardio definitely creates a much bigger deficit for us EM2WLers so it can be hard to make up for…
  • Honestly, I would do a reset for 8 weeks and enjoy your vacations! Then, when you get back, start your cut. I think your body will appreciate the consistency after being at such low calories, and you will appreciate the ability to not stress about it on vaca. *You can expect to gain a bit when you do the reset...just FYI…
  • Welcome to the group...you are in good hands  I just went to Scooby and ran some numbers for you. At moderate exercise level I got: BMR- 1665 TDEE- 2581 Cut 15%- 2194 I am not sure you are at moderate level, however. You say you do cardio 2-3 days a week. If that is longer than an hour or is very intesnse you may…
  • I am on week 5 of the reset, and I keep gaining and losing the same 4 pounds. I calculated my TDEE from my Fitbit averages and I am always + or - 50 calories away from my goal. Before the reset I was feeling really great about how my body was looking thanks to lifting. Have to admit that I haven't been doing much…
  • I have cucumber and spicy mustard almost every day
  • I think consistency is the key. I would try to hit your goal, but wouldn't be stressed if you came + or - a bit. Me, on the other hand, I am always so excited when I am under my goal so I can have an extra big snack at night
  • I miss a good Fluffernutter sandwich. Can't seem to find Fluff in Texas!
  • I just gagged down one of those myself. I usually buy a store brand string cheese, but got Sargento because it was on sale. I only go shopping once a week, so it looks like I will be suffering until Sunday. Haha.
  • Your weight will fluctuate while you are doing the reset, so be prepared for that...you may not simply maintain the whole time. But, your body definitely needs the extra calories, so I think it would be the right move. After you start the cut you should notice the beginning of losing inches. There is a sticky at the top of…
  • I am experiencing the same thing. Last week I was at a conference for 3 days and ate a bit over TDEE....not a big deal. Got right back to normal habits on Saturday, but on Monday I got severely bloated and felt awful. That has continued all week, I am up 4 pounds on the scale, and my clothes aren't fitting. My TOM is next…
  • I just started the 30 day challenge. It was for May, so you would have to go to All Workouts to find them. Some days there is only 1 workout, but some days there are 2 or 3. The days there are 3 it is 36 minutes....plenty long for me considering how intense Lis Marie's are. I think if you stick with it and add some…
  • Skinnytaste.com has some kick butt recipes, My hubby's personal favorite is the chicken piccata
  • That is me every day!! It's 3 pm here and mine says 1058 :ohwell:
  • Soo jealous of you ladies! Even on an exercise day I only burn 1900+ calories. Would love to be enjoying all that yummy food
  • You know, I thought of this as well. The pain in my right side was the first indication that maybe my body was trying to heal something. I definitely don't think I have over-trained. I started the BodyRock.tv 30 day challenge on Monday, so maybe the change in routine? Before BodyRock I did NROL4W after not lifting for 2…
  • Nope. Diet has remained constant.
  • According to my Fitbit, on an average day I burn about 1800 calories. The calculator gave me a TDEE of 1846, so I would say it is pretty close. Good luck!
  • I do this everyday! I put in my breakfast, lunch and dinner and then figure out what snacks I want based on my macros!!
  • Anyone can add me as well
  • If you go to Profile Settings-Applications you can synch the two. You don't have to enter any calories, Fitbit sends over all that information on its own. It even gives you a calorie adjustment if you are estimated to burn more than MFP expects you to.
