Hi Debbie, Welcome!! You will love slipping into your old jeans, best feeling ever. I always look at the scale, but I love to try on jeans and button them when not too long before I couldn't even get them over my hips.

I think maybe you should lower your goal slowly then go into the maintenance calories like you said. I would switch from 1 lb. to .5 lbs/week. I would do it for about two weeks and then stick to your maintenance calories. Just remember to continue to log your calories religiously and continue with your gym routine, because…

my wake up call was when I found out that my coworkers were making fun of me behind my back and saying that "my *kitten* was so huge it hung over the side of my chair."
