When this happens to me I usually have a cup of tea. If that doesn't work, I brush my teeth. Sometimes nothing works and I snack.

Once while out walking at 5am (because that is the only time of day I can) some AHOLE yelled "move that chubby *kitten*". If I could have found a rock I swear I would have beaned him with it. The funny part was he was dirty, ugly and drove a truck that looked like it was going to fall apart any minute. Quite a catch he was…

Welcome back, I on round 2 as well. Add me if you like, I log in every day.

First of all welcome to MFP. You will find many supportive people on this site and we are all here for the same reason regardless how much or little we want to lose. I am back for the second time, I lost 14lbs a couple of years ago, kept it off for over a year and then gained it all back again. The reason I gained it all…

I'm back for the 3rd time and log in every day, feel free to add me!:drinker:

Your story sounds very familiar to me. I'm back for the third time as well. I log on in every day, add me if you want!

So far so good, I do great during the week, but come Friday night I'm all about the white wine, That is my biggest challenge!!!

I'm aiming for 4lbs by end of Feb. My overall goal is 1lb/wk until the long weekend in May, maintenance until October and then back at it. I want to enjoy my Summer and not have to work too hard at this during those months. The scale hasn't moved down the last couple of weeks but it hasn't moved up either. I have exceeded…

Welcome, you will find many great supportive people on this site. The first thing you should do is set your goals. From the home page click on the goal tab and fill in the blanks, then click on the food tab to start logging. Good luc:smile:

I've been sick with a miserable cold since late last week so excercise has not happened. I've managed to stay fairly close to my calorie goal so not too bad. Tomorrow will be the tell
-
Wait until tomorrow, if you still want junk have it, log it and move on
-
WOW! You look great, good for you
-
Good for you, what a great start. I tell myself if I really want something I can have it tomorrow. Sometimes I still crave it but usually once tomorrow comes I'm over it. If you indulge log it and move on. Good luck to you:smile:

My goal for 2014 is to eat within my calorie range for "just one day" (for a total of 365 days), on days when I indulge myself I will not be a failure I will have had a "one day" setback.

I found this on MFP a while back, they are YUMMY. I usually double the recipe to make larger muffins. I bake a batch every weekend and freeze them. Ingredients: 1 cup mashed banana (usually 2 small VERY VERY ripe bananas) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup old fashioned oats 3…

Just search a goal a month (don't use the word group) You will have to scroll a few pages but look for the image with a stone on a scale.

This is great, I am starting again and need the motivation. I haven't joined any of these groups before so I'm not sure how it works.....Do I just go to the spreadsheet each week and log my progress?

I do the same thing with white wine. Try to look at it as a temporary set back not a failure and get back on track today. You can't change what you have already done and beating yourself up about will only make you feel worse. When I mess up I used to think "I've already blown the week, why bother?", now I tell myself, if…

Snacking is the worse thing for me, I can eat way too many calories and not even realize it. The best advice I can give you (I am fairly new to this so take my advice for what that is worth) LOG EVERYTHING! If you don't you are only cheating yourself. Also don't get too hung up on going over your calories now and then, it…
