  • I started at 245 (though my heaviest was 260). I'm at about 175 right now (fluctuating between 173-177). My goal is a strong 165-170. Feel free to add me. Nothing special. Just be very honest about measuring food and counting calories and get in a good workout many days a week.
  • YogaFit is recognized by YA...which is why I have been leaning more towards that. I do love the mental aspect of yoga, but I also want to use it, and share it, as a form of exercise. It has helped me so much in other "activities" in my life, like running, paddleboarding, biking, that I want to show others how it can…
  • Very very little soda. I maybe have one a month when I'm out with friends and don't want to drink.
  • I am almost a year in using Advocare. I also started with the 24DC to jump start everything. Feel free to add me and/or send a message with any questions. I still take a handful of products regularly and have tried a few others.
  • Use "I'm stubborn" as an excuse...like he's the only man that is.
  • Sometimes all I do is add mustard to the egg mixture before cooking it.
  • Aside from actually enjoying clothes shopping and having many more options, I discovered I have a dimple!!
  • A little bit in your tummy, like others have said. I started at over 240 and I think I lost my first 20 pounds from my face.
  • Always. I don't care about VPL. But I do have certain panties that I can't wear because they fall down under my leggings. And I don't wear the shorts with liners. Maybe I'll get my first pair now that I might actually be able to fit in them.
  • Nothing yet. It's 1:30, I ate a late breakfast and just got back from a run. Trying to decide if I want to just have a meal replacement shake and then eat a larger dinner, or make something more substantial. Mostly, I just don't have much food at home right now. I go out of town on the weekends and about this time of the…
  • Ab work is good always. But proper form and proper exercises are a must otherwise it can cause more pain. I would think that overweight people would get frustrated because they expect "crunches" to decrease belly fat. When in fact, you can do a billion crunches and not lose any belly fat (ok, totally exaggerated).
  • I have been anemic pretty much my whole life. I was taking an OTC iron supplement, but it didn't make a difference in my iron level. Now I am on a prescription supplement. I have never felt tired or any of the classic anemic symptoms. The only way I could tell is that I bruise very easily. My new doctor (for the last three…
  • I love yoga!! I know someone mentioned it, but you have to find the right instructor and right class. The studio I went to recently revamped their classes and they turned into more "stretchy" classes. I like the ones that are more fast paced, like a vinyasa flow. And I love when teachers throw in a couple poses that I…
  • I actually just hate "oh my gosh, you look so good" and "how did you do it" and "are you feeling better now?" My responses (in my head) "are you saying I use to look bad?" and "exercise and good food, are you accusing me of starving myself or taking a pill?" and "I didn't ever feel bad"
  • 5'10" SW 260 CW 178 GW 170 Starting bra size 42DD (I think) Current 38D, but I recently fit into a 34E corset style strapless one that my cousin gave me to try. The cup part fit weird (very cone-like), but the 34 part fit fine and I was on the smallest hooks.
  • All my swim suits are from Athleta. They are kind of pricey, but have held up very well. One I've had for three years (it's now a bit big though). Plus, great return policy if you don't like it.
  • My prom dresses have gone from, "it fits" to "it's too big" already. However, I just purchased a bridesmaid dress in a size 12. It fit me perfectly...the wedding is in 10 months...motivation to maintain?
  • The last pair of pants I bought I got in two different sizes. The 14 fit, nicely, maybe a tad loose. The 12 was a bit snug, though I could get them on and buttoned. After wearing both around the house for a couple days, I made the decision to return the 14s. The 12s fit better, but are still a bit snug...hopefully soon!
  • Cardio. Though I've read/heard that the pooch area is more directly affected by diet.
  • Whatever works for the season. In the summer: Running is boring, but no matter where I am I can get a run in. Biking is good, and I like to make biking day trips. Mountain biking if it's cool, and hasn't been raining. Hiking when I have time and can go someplace new. Paddleboarding when it's warm and not windy/wavy. In the…
  • I don't know about handstands curing herniated discs, but I know that inversions can...on an inversion table, or hanging. The negative pressure around the spine can "suck" a herniated disc back into place. But all the muscles in the back, core, etc must be totally relaxed so that the vertebrae can space out. It isn't going…
  • I realize this is from over a month ago. I completed the 24-day challenge just shy of a year ago and have continued to take the MNS (I started with 3, switched to E, and am now back to 3). I've tried almost every product in the Trim line. I continue to take the Carb-ease and Catalyst. I don't take them everyday. The…
  • I use to work at a clothing store. I watch this chick, very busty, try on a size medium shirt. She looked at me said "it's too small." I offered to get her a large. She replied, "no, I don't wear large." Obviously you do in that shirt!!
  • I would definitely say salt intake for sure needs to decrease. And although the diet cola doesn't have calories, there are a lot of other things in it that may be harmful. Try replacing it with water. And the fast food...that will help with the sodium. McD's has other options that would be better than chicken nuggets.
  • It's not bad. It definitely taste different. But you can adjust the thickness based on how much water you add. I'm a PB addict, so it was a good options. Plus, I have to make it each time I want it. A little more work.
  • I'm 5'10" and 176. I like Athleta. I wear a Large tall, 12/14. They have a fantastic return policy and I have had great help with their customer service. I've been wearing them since I weighed 245. I wore XL then, pretty tight. I was a 18/20. They are kinda pricey, but if you wear them for a month and they start to wear…
  • Doesn't sound like a failure to me!

  • Lifeproof that thing! I also keep mine in my bra. It's easy to access. Sometimes I set an alarm for how long I want to run and from there I can feel/hear the alarm go off.
  • yep....this is me. Second coldest winter since 1874...I read it in the news today. The cold hit just as I was finally starting to get into an outdoor running groove. Time for some warm(er) weather. I normally love winter. I love to downhill ski, winter hike...but not when there is a wind chill and negative degrees.
  • My license says I'm 200...I was probably closer to 260 in the photo with my dyed dark brown hair. Now I'm at 178 and have let my hair go back to it's natural color, blond. My passport photo is even worse, I was lightening my hair, straightening it poorly (I have naturally Minnie Driver type hair) and it was before I…
