  • I call it "beefcake hour"... which is actually more like three hours. I rarely go at that time and will even get up extra early to get in and out before the beefcakes get there.
  • I've dropped about 50 pounds and a half inch off my calves. But I don't think they are going to decrease much more. I don't mind them except when I shopping for boots. Even the "wide calf" ones are too small. They are about 15" right now.
  • So, I obviously failed at getting the photos to show up. Will try again.
  • I have pretty much switched to only treadmill. I started out forcing myself to "run" 1 mile a week. Slowly (took about six months) I began to do more and more and actually skip the elliptical all together. Now I do about 3 miles twice a week. I'll use the elliptical occasionally, especially if I'm sore from something or…
  • I use different shoes, indoor and outdoor, not only to keep gym equipment clean and working properly, but because the shoe wears based on how I walk/run. And it's true, your gait is different. There is no forward push on a treadmill since the "ground" is moving for you. Also, I only wear smartwool socks. Trust me, you're…
  • By Thanksgiving I want to be solidly in the 190s. (at 202 right now)... and by Christmas...all my CEUs that are due at the end of the year done.
  • Olives. Any kind. I can't even eat things that they are picked off of. Alfalfa sprouts, lobster, and crawdads...those all taste like dirt to me. Most pickled things, including pickles (most of the time) and beets. I also will pick out water chestnuts from asian food. They are just abnormally crunchy. Those are all things I…
  • It took 40 pounds to finally get a smaller bra size...and even then it was just the band. So far they are still DD...just 38DD instead of 40DD. I have another 30 pounds to go and am hoping to at least get down to D...was really hoping for C, but I think that might be pushing it.
  • I bought the cheapest scale and it works just fine. I use it almost every day...especially when cooking! My Magic Bullet I use nearly every day for my morning green (and fruit) smoothies. I also bought a food processor a few months ago. Been experimenting with making my own protein bars. It also makes shredding zucchini…
  • When I think of power yoga, I think of Jillian Michaels' Yoga Meltdown DVD. Very dynamic movement into and out of poses that focus on large muscle groups - specifically the warrior poses - and then holding the pose for a long -ish time. I don't mind this type of exercise, but I think there is less focus on breathing…
  • I just put the solo key in my bra. But I check often to make sure it's still there. A friend of mine will hang it in a random tree nearby, behind her tire, or in the woods where she can still find it. A lot of my workout pants have tiny pockets that can hold a solo key.
  • I like the first half of the show...I finished the first season, but am struggling to stay interested in the second season.
  • I use a presto popper. Always delish and pops nearly every kernel.
  • There are a couple teachers at the studio I go to that I like. One in particular always throws a "crazy" pose into the class each week. It's nice because then I have something to practice at home. I hoping one of these times she'll show us one that I already know how to do!! Many of them are arm balances.
  • Tommy Flanagan... in everything that he has ever done... especially Sons of Anarchy. I'd ride on the back of his bike any day.
  • I've been taking the Advocare MNS Max 3 for about six months. It's super expensive, but I feel awesome on them. I don't feel like I need a nap at 3 everyday and the big munchie's are gone. I also take the Catalyst before my work outs. I can feel the difference in my legs and motivation, especially when I'm running. They…
  • Heading up the Gunflint trail in northern MN Sunday. No crazy hiking, just to see the colors and hike in to see the magnetic rock.
  • I actually just tried on a pair of Gap khaki pants I bought in, probably 2006, I SQUEEZED into them then. This weekend I was able to button them and move around fine...but, hello!? Who ever though low rise pants were a good idea.
  • Great!!! Anti-inflammatory.
  • I like to read in the bathroom. I also find dish water to be the most disgusting thing on the planet. I'd rather stick my hands in my cat's litter box. I can't keep plants alive. Even the ones you're suppose to "ignore" I manage to kill.
  • I'm at about 40D (sometimes 38D sometimes 40DD) all depends.... But, I use the Lane Bryant Cacique balconette bras, yes they are underwire. With a cheaper sports bra for more exercise. If I'm going to be running (which I am getting into more) I'll wear a tank top with some sort of built-in. I've tried many other sports…
  • Keep it up and that number will continue to go down. I sign up for the same 5k and mile (about 3 months apart) every year, just to keep on top of things. Each time I am able to run more of it and walk less.
  • I have seen people at my gym leave their dogs in their car, on a decent day, and walk on the treadmill. Also, I know some people don't like when they take the treadmill right next door...I'm not a fan either. However, my gym has two different brands of treadmills. A lot of one brand and two of the other. I of course prefer…
  • Realize how much fun you had at all those celebrations!!! And how yummy the food was!!! Start fresh the next day. No big deal. How does the quote go? Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.
  • I'm 5'10" and I think am a 16/18 right now. (210 lbs). I would love to be a 10/12. At least then I could go to stores and pick out clothes I like...not have to settle for the stuff that fits me! My biggest problem is length! A 34" inseam is not long enough. I need about a 35". Most women's clothes come standard with 32",…
  • Yes, Papa Murphy's. But, I make small ones for lunch all the time!! I just use a whole wheat tortilla, a little sauce, top with cooked ground turkey or chicken pieces, spinach or other veggies, one ounce of cheddar cheese....bake in the toaster oven. Top with half an avocado. yummy!
  • 5'10" weighed in at 210.5 this morning. Waist 33.5, Hips 46, bust 42, thigh 28 I started at 245 lbs, heaviest 259. Goal 170.
