Great idea about doing it with dips. Might give that a try. Although I hate pull ups I suppose I should focus on things I'm not good at. Thanks above for the muscle explanations.

I'm not after a look as such. I've always had a week back so looking to get it stronger. I'm working on full body routines so hopefully this will help strengthen my back and core.

I used the TRX at my gym with an instructor for a few months. Loved it! BUT I would recommend looking around for alternative cheaper versions of it rather than the TRX brand. I think a good alternative is the z-trainer at the high end quality. If your not sure whether you will like one why not try a really cheap one. I…

I would think using a HRM rather than an "average" from the makers (marketing department) of P90x2 must surely be more accurate.

Thanks for the reply. I will try a HRM with P90x2 and use the calorie output to judge whether my output is better or worse than last time.
