As everyone has said just be patient. As long as you know you are doing what you need to do, your body is changing. It could be in inches or pounds but changes are being made. As long as you are not gaining all is good.

You should count everything...I even count my water. It doesn't have any calories but it helps me keep track of what I am doing. Veggies do have calories, most are low but they still have some.

Congrats on the 40 pounds. Have you taken any measurements. I only lost a little over 21 pounds since I started.but during that time I have lost 14 inches. I do some weight training to help tone as I lose. I hope this helps.

I'm 5'1 and I think my ideal weight would be between 110 - 120. My doctor say he wants me at 135 but per the BMI index that would still make me over weight. Polar FT4 is what I have. I use it while I workout and taking walks. I have a mild heart condition and my doctor says not to let my HR get over a number. I use mine to stay within the limits he suggests. I agree with the others that I like knowing what calories I really burning. I got mine new on ebay for 50.

I have only lost 25 lbs, but Now my close are very big on me I can now lift more weight I can now ride my exercise bike as long as I want not just 5 min. I can say I feel better and healthier.

I plan on eating anything I want but in a smaller portion. I don't deny myself anything but have to exercise what I eat extra off.
