Shop at Old Navy... Target runs small! That's what I do when I'm not happy about the size! You'll get there! This isn't a dumb post at all. You're doing great!

Exactly, over training will hurt you in the long run. Your body needs a break. You can take an active rest day where you do yoga (like mentioned), go for a leisurely walk, swim... do things that don't make your muscles have to work too hard.

Which marathon are you running? There are lots of runners on MFP! Ask away, you'll get tons of advice! Remember to ice your knees right after you run if you feel any pain and stretch before and after. The nathan brand running belt is the best for carrying water.. the vanilla creme Gu is the best flavor. Do you have a…

Squats and lunges, step ups, running, biking & hiking. Genetics plays a large role but you can lift your butt and make it rounder doing those exercises. http://exercise.about.com/od/butthipsthighs/tp/butt.htm

I ran the race! It was a ton of fun! They still haven't posted results yet.... The Warrior Dash looks like fun too! Anyone tried that?

It's best to have your feed assessed and to get fitted for the proper shoes.

My goals keep me focused. The way I feel after I work out motivates me to run and go to the gym. I am motivated by results.... Although, the last 2 weeks I have had no interest in logging my food. I need to get back on track and start eating better again.

That is true! I'm 5'6" and I weigh 123. People think I weigh 110 right now (I'll take that!). I'm starting to just pay attention to toning and definition rather than the number on the scale. My goal now is to get to 15% body fat (I'm at 17.9%). Last year at this time I weighed 149 lbs and was at 27% body fat. I plateaued…

Hey! congrats!!! The energy at races is amazing! I bet you surprise yourself and run further than you have on your own at the track. Bring an iPod or MP3 player! If it's cold bring an old light weigh jacket that you can toss if you decide you don't want to wear it anymore. They will have water, gu (electrolyte/energy…

I'd do the egg whites scrambled with veggies and topped with salsa. That's my go to low cal meal!! go for a quick mile jog.. that'll get you at least 100 more calories.

On the days you exercise all of your percentages go up (fat, protein, calories, etc). What kinds of foods are you eating? Are you sticking to lean meat and low fat dairy for your protein? I drink a protein shake every day with 1/2 c of nonfat milk and 1/2 c of water. 130 cal, 26 g protein, 2 g of sugar and 3 g of fat per…

I'm 5'6" and my goal weight is 120-123 (I can maintain that). I am currently at 123 and working to get to 120. I would like to be 115 but that is not easy for me to maintain. I'm also at 17.9% body fat and want to be at 15%.

I can't run on a treadmill. RUNNING AND RUNNING and going NOWHERE! BLAH! I have to run outside. I set my over all goal of distance. I map my runs http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ or on https://my.garmin.com (I have a forerunner). If I leave the house running, I can't stop til I get home and If I don't go on my intended route…

I wear capri yoga pants or long yoga pants and a tank top with a sports bra. All fits well and is very comfortable. I don't like wearing loose clothing. I feel frumpy.
-
I'm still working hard on toning my arms and upper thighs (below my butt), butt and quads! They have all shrunk a lot but now I need some definition.
-
I can work out like crazy and eat what ever I want and have zero changes! When I focus on my diet alone I see the numbers falling on the scale but my body shape is still frumpy. Working out and getting into shape helps you become tone, defined and lean and it changes your shape from frumpy to fit! BUT, without the proper…

you can have lean ground beef if you'd like. I don't eat red meat except on rare occasions. It doesn't agree with me.... I prefer the taste and texture of ground turkey. I bet they are just as good with ground beef! Give it a try!

Welcome! I'm a mom of two girls (3 and 16 months). Being a mommy is the best thing ever! It took me a year after each baby to get back to my pre preggo weight... but I still have toning to do. After my first I was in maternity clothes for 4-5 months (BLECK). After my 2nd I got rid of my maternity clothes 6 weeks after I…
