Hi there, I think MFP makes it quite confusing. When I first started, I was on 1200 calories a day (trying to get 2 pound loss a week). I probably should have added that I myself don't smoke. I'm a science teacher and a few of the pupils were asking me during a "balanced diet and weight loss" lesson. Balanced arguments would be great, and not just "don't smoke" Woo! x
