Awesome! I'm working my way up to jogging too, so I know how great you must feel!

You look awesome! I started as a size 18, currently a 14, was just thinking today how exciting it will be to be a 12. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am a teacher and I get the flu shot every year, it has never made me sick. The years that I didn't get it I also seem to get sicker with other things more often. I wish we could get it for free. My sister never used to get her flu shot, last year she had the flu and thought she might die. Not literally, but she sure felt…

Like other's have said be careful with the jumping jacks and butt kicks. I had been walking 3 miles 4 times a week and still they caused me to have shin splints.
-
I agree, you have to find the right shoe. I have the same problem and I'm still searching. Just bought New Balance to try them out. If you don't have a place near you that does fitting do some research online and start there. Also, search "shin splints" on here and there are a lot of great suggestions, including exercises…

I don't know why you even asked for help, you have a nasty rebuttal for all suggestions. Eating 800 calories a day for a long period is killing your body. Go have your kidney function tested. My mil ate 1000 calories or less a day for a couple years and her kidneys began to fail. If your situation with your hips is as…

If you read her other post she wanted to loose 28 lbs in a month before her wedding. She is 5 ft 11 and 178 lbs, a size 12, she shouldn't even be thinking about surgery. In addition, she said if she couldn't loose the weight she wouldn't get married. She was very rude and foul mouthed. She needs psychiatric help!

^^ Totally agree with this one!

Chocolate jello pudding, mini hershey bars, fudge ice cream bars (you can find them for 80 calories each), and semisweet morsels. Also a graham cracker dipped in chocolate milk helps sometimes too!

I get them too, they can be excruciating! I got new shoes and I am still getting them. I think I am going to try the compression sleeve.

A friend of mine got bit while running while the owner was standing right there saying "Oh, she wont bite". It was a couple days before her first 5K, she was so mad. If a dog is really vicious I don't know how much throwing them a treat would help. I had a very big pit bull growl at me one day. I just turned around and…

I would say delete those people and choose new ones until you find supportive ones. I would be lost without my friends on here.

I am wondering if you are getting enough calories? You exercise a lot and a net of 850 is not enough. You should net at least 1200. I'm also wondering if you actually need to loose weight, or is it that you just need toning? I am 5 ft 5 and my goal is 145. You need to measure yourself and go by that more than what the…

I am an introvert, but I probably would have quit by now if it wasn't for my friends. I was careful on who I accepted as a friend, I looked for people with similar amounts of weight to loose and similar interests. I have only deleted one person because she constantly complained about her weight going up and down daily,…

Congrats! That is awesome!

It seems that most of us here believe you shouldn't have quit. You should have waited to see what the meeting was about. I'm sure that what you went through with the fire could have been used as leverage to persuade them to let you stay on. Even the Salvation Army is required to follow employment laws.

I'm glad you have talked and things are better. Just wanted to tell you that this is an issue me and my husband had early in our relationship. He was 22 and had not had anyone concerned about where he was and what he was doing since he was 16. He did not understand why I needed to know what he was doing. It wasn't that I…

Thank you for your post, its just what I needed! I started out eating 1100-1200 per day and lost pretty fast, but after loosing 25lbs I came to a complete stand still. Now I'm trying to eat more so I can do this the healthy way.

I don't like saggy pants, I think it looks ridiculous. And if guys really knew where and why the saggy pants (showing underwear) originated they would be pulling their pants up fast.
-
Just totally awesome! Congratulations! Your friend is right, you are an inspiration!

Wow! You are look AMAZING!

I have lost 27lbs and my husband and my sister are the only two that ever say anything. And my sis is the only one encouraging me. My husband told me yesterday I better keep my clothes because I will gain it all back....sigh....Anyway, I'm a teacher too and I start school in two weeks. We shall see if anyone there says…

Yes, I used to have the strangling in my throat. I had very severe GERD, thought I was having a heart attack, that episode is what led me to start a healthier way of life. I am on 40 mg of omeprazole a day, but am hoping to reduce that to 20mg a day after my dr appt on the 20th, since I have lost so much weight. I also…

It could be something as simple as allergies or sinus infection, but it could be something more serious. See your doctor!
-
Wow! I think there is a huge difference there, even in your face. Keep up the good work!
-
That is great! I've lost 27 lbs too.

I was just going to ask you about your ears too. Do they feel clogged or "full". I had labryinthitis several years ago, which is basically a viral infection that attacks your ears. I still have dizziness and a fuzzy feeling in my head from it sometimes. When I first was stricken with it I couldn't stand up at all and when…

I think this topic should not even be allowed any more. If people don't get it by now they never will. New members can see it in old topics.

I prefer walking. We have a beautiful trail here that I just love. But I can burn twice as many calories on my stationary bike. If I had a lot of extra time I would walk in the mornings and bike in the evenings, but that never happens!

You look awesome! So beautiful. Jealous that you didn't have to exercise, lol! Great work!
