My eating is out of control once I get home. I'll start with a reasonable snack, which becomes a marathon of gorging until dinner is done. Also, I haven't been accurately logging the binging because it is embarrassing to admit in my diary. It is disappointing because I'd made it under 150 lbs for the first time in over 2…

My morning blood sugars have been in my target range (110-120) the past week and a half. Also, my pants are fitting better this week. I'll take both!

My grandma told me I would never marry because no man wanted a fat woman as a wife. As a child (9 or 10), that stung pretty horribly. However, as I grew up, I gained the perspective of time and maturity to realize she was speaking from her generation's ideas of beauty and femininity. Elementary through senior high: thunder…

Clothes that fit properly with minimal tailoring! Mainly, clothes geared for A casual professional environment without me feeling or looking ancient. And, it would be great to dress up for dates with my husband and feel beautiful. (I am seriously tired of Lane Bryant clothes.)

Thanks, otrlynn. I have asked and it was recommended that I avoid these for now. I've done low plank and had some irritation, but not as bad as regular plank. Thanks!

Some of her purses are fun and funky!) 155-new clothes for work i don't want to look like a college grad forever (tshirts and jeans). 145-Possibly a new lens for my Sony A55. 131-Not having to shop in the womans section-dressing in clothes I…

Hey. I have it in my right wrist. I cannot do a lot of push ups or downward dogs because my wrist hurts from the pressure. I am in physical therapy for it, so I am thinking another month and I'll be able to do more pushups and lifting without wanting to quit. Hope your wrist is feeling better!

Wow! You are awesome. You are one of my inspirations. (Really! I saw one post with your pictures and said, "Yes! This is what I want to do.")

Noted. I was being silly. Can't be serious about it all the time. :)

You are doing a fabulous job! You look fan-freaking-tastic!

:) I am glad that worked for you! I cut carbs for 3 months and lost nothing, even with regular exercise and calorie counting. Now, with a more balanced diet (for me), I am starting to see some results. Just shows how glorious and different evey body is!
-
I agree! Even as a diabetic, I think carbohydrates still have a place in a diet (not a diet diet, just everyday eating).

Thank you for posting this information. I think a lot of people don't know this info or choose to overlook it in their weight loss ventures. Thanks, again!

Yes! Another opinion is better. I'm T2 and having a hard time losing weight. I went to my endocrinologist about not being able to lose weight, even with diet and exercise mods. He said I would need more insulin and that I should eat no more than 1000 calories per day. I left determined to show him my numbers would be…

To make living with diabetes easier. To reduce the meds taken because of diabetes. I want feel and BE healthier! To wear clothes that don't look horribly dowdy or too danged tight for a 37 year old woman. And, to show my endocrinologist I CAN lose weight and eat more than 1000 calories per day!

For me is knowing my triggers and acknowledging the situation when I am in it. After an episode, don't spend time beating yourself up. Spend some time figuring out why it happened and how to better deal with it next time.
