I personally do crunches, not complete sit-up. If you have hard time doing certain exercise, you can always start with a low volume and gradually increase the reps as you get better :)

Create Calories Deficit then you will lose weight and do strength training to maintain muscle :) Burpees definitely get the heart rate going.

And that's about 57 kgs = 126 lbs, right? And you are 5 foot tall? 10kg (22lbs) is doable if you do have the weight to lose. I lost about that amount in about 3 months. I'd suggest you to find out the estimated energy requirement for your age group / activity level, find out the maintenance calories for your weight then…

From what I've heard and researched online, an average natural woman is able to gain about between 0.12-0.25 pounds of muscle per week. Plus you are on deficit, so, I don't think it's the muscle weight.
