Why do you need to do it?0

That much weight loss in 3 months would not be advised- too agressive. IF you managed to lose it that fast, it probably would be a temporary loss.
Follow the general guidelines on here- eat well, move more. Stay true to this and you will lose weight. May not be 7 pounds a month, but your weight will decrease and you will be healthier.0 -
You could do it if you were very, very overweight but with only 10kg to lose, it's not likely or healthy to do so. Set up your goals here on mfp, see what calories it gives you. Make healthy food choices every day and get your body moving. You'll lose, maybe not as fast as you'd like, but it'll happen as long as you are maintaining a calorie deficit.
By exercising, you'll start to tone up and lose inches as well which can help it look like you've lost more than you have.0 -

Sorry, with what everyone else has said, you're just not going to drop that much weight as you don't have a lot to lose.
Eat a mild caloric deficit, lift heavy, do some cardio and worry about the tape measure...not the scale.0 -
7 stone??? Seriously? Isn't that approx. 98lbs? wow....0

If she is 5'0, 7 stones would still be in the healthy BMI range for her weight, just the lower side of it.
And why not start trying and see where you end up? You might not make your ideal goal weight, but at least you would be trying to make yourself feel better.0 -
Have you ever tried weight lifting? In three months if you're already only 9st you could have a pretty smoking bikini body from lifting weights!0

I did that in the last 2 months. I've been losing about 0.3 pounds per day, which comes out to about 0.13 kg per day. I definitely was overweight, so I had the room to lose it. But it wasn't easy.
1) I used MFP and was placed on a 1200 calorie per day plan.
2) I have gone to the gym and done running and biking for 1 hour or more every day.
3) I cut out all processed foods, and went "mostly vegetarian", but was careful to go for high-nutrient foods, and especially watch protein intake, since working out so much requires protein for muscle growth.
I've now hit my target weight, and am moving over to a maintenance plan, but still doing the daily running and biking.
Did I lose a ton of weight? Yes. Faster than some would say is healthy? Yes. Was it hard to do? Yes. I put in 70+ hours at the gym in the last few months.
But I did it all the healthy way. I researched what I would need for calories, protein, iron, etc. etc. and made sure I got those in. I can now run 7 miles without having a heart attack, and am on track for my first half marathon towards the end of the summer.0 -

And that's about 57 kgs = 126 lbs, right? And you are 5 foot tall?
10kg (22lbs) is doable if you do have the weight to lose. I lost about that amount in about 3 months. I'd suggest you to find out the estimated energy requirement for your age group / activity level, find out the maintenance calories for your weight then create a calories deficit and do strength training to maintain muscles.0 -

Start a lifting program. That's the fastest way to get a flat stomach. I'd recommend buying New Rules of Lifting for Women.0

I've started on January 1st and until today I've lost 15kgs. So, it is possible. The only exercise I do is irregular walking (I go out for an hour walk few times a week and I walk as fast as I can, which burns 600-800kcal per hour). I have a sitting job and started with 20kg overweight. I've set my target in MyFitnessPal to 0,75kg per week. First weeks I've been losing even quicker. I'm plateauing a bit right now, but my weight seems to be stable -- I'm not gaining, but still losing weight (5kg to go), just much slower than in the beginning.
Note, that I weight all my food and do really detailed logging. When I get an urge to eat more or unhealthy, I do so -- I cut down most of sweet stuff, but I occasionally eat those and even visit McDonalds. I simply go for a walk such days to balance additional kcals.
Overall there has been next to none suffering in my diet which is suprising for me. After first week my body adjusted and I'm no longer constantly hungry :-) Moreover, when I eat too much, I now feel physically too full, so I guess my body learned to measure its food portions properly.0 -

I've done it.
But I didn't research it properly, so I started on 1200cal per day and felt rubbish after 6 weeks. So I upped my calories to 1300 per day. And felt rubbish again six weeks later. I got properly sick and gained 3kg back in that week!
So I wouldn't recommend it.
It's better to go slow and steady and to KEEP IT OFF in the long run rather than trying to get it off quicker than is healthy and gaining it all back.
I've been losing the same 3kg over and over for the last 5 months and I can tell you, it's really not fun.0 -

Oh dear.. Not another misinformed female... Becoming muscular is incredibly difficult, even more so for girls because of our hormones. Lifting weights will lower your body fat percentage whereas extreme dieting you will lose more muscle and still be jiggly and have a pooch and if your really lucky some protruding bones.
Three months is too short of time to look "muscly" but it is enough time to look awesome!0 -

I've lost 12kg since the start of Dec at 1800 cals a day + exercise. Sedentary work, running, ultimate frisbee, toddler at home..0
