If I don't eat a bite of something before I workout I start having dry hes and getting extremely sick to my stomach and throw up bile. So I have gotten into the habit of eating a quest bar before my workout, alternatively my trainer says I could also eat a tablespoon of peanut butter. You just need a little bit of energy…

I wake up at 5:30 am to work out by 6:00 then I come home and get ready for work. Six months ago, if you told me that I'd be waking up at that hour I'd told you that you were crazy. You need to decide what is more important to you. The temporary comfort of laying in bed, or the prominent joy of reaching your goal.…

I've had the sleeve surgery in 2012.

I have had the sleeve surgery. I had very good results but there are things I would have done differently knowing what I know now. If you would like any advice or insight into the surgery come feel free to reach out to me.

I am very much like you. You cannot change the past. You can only change the future. There is nothing gained by getting upset over things that have already happened. One of those eastern dudes like The Buddha or Confusous said, "It doesn't matter how slow you go so long as you dont stop."

I'm trying to stay at 1400 per day

I agree with the folks here. 1) your body is storing calories because it is in starvation mode. I'd recommend total calorie intake of 1200. 2) exercise is great but the weights add muscle which weighs more than fat 3) focus on eating less carbs and more protein/veggies.

My go to snacks are: - String cheese (60 cal.) - Dill pickles (5 cal.) - Bananas - Sugar free popsicles (20 cal.)

I would recommend the following: 1) Eat more protein -- fish, chicken, pork 2) Eat less starch -- breads, pasta, rice, potatoes 3) Log all your food on this site 4) Try to stay within your recommended calorie range 5) Walk 30 minutes per day It's not easy and it is an uphill battle but the successes are worth the effort.
