I also lift heavy and haven't changed my carb intake either. I try to stay at about 20g per day. I am doing stronglift 5x5 right now and have been able to increase my weights as recommended without any struggle from low carb. I keep my cardio to a bare minimum, the odd walk if it's nice outside. I love the shift that has…

Feel free to add me, I'm fairly new to this myself but I am trying to stay between the 20-30g carbs range

I agree with JenHuedy, I can lose two sizes and absolutely no pounds by lifting weights. I find exercise plays a huge part in body composition. It seems to shift how my body weight is distributed.

I bake liquid egg whites in muffin tins. Just spray the muffin cups with non stick cooking spray and then measure out about 2 tbsp of the egg whites out of the carton. You could add whatever to want to them. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. They are good hot or cold

You will notice lots of amazingly strong and fit women around MFP that lift heavy and EAT, this book seems to explain the same things that you will read over and over again on the forums.

I did order it from Amazon, but I'm sure the local book store has it as well. It wasn't that expensive and it's filled with nutritional info too.

I started New rules of lifting for women on April 20th and I love it!! I had been pushing around light weights and using machines for years with little improvement, but in just 4 weeks of NROL4W I've noticed changes in my body shape and I'm getting stronger and have much better form! Good luck!

My 17 year old has been lifting weights and bulking for the last few months and I can honestly tell you I can not keep up with the grocery/cooking/feeding that has been going on!! He also has a physical job part time after school. I try to make big breakfasts every morning and he packs everything out of the fridge for…

I have always been more of a cardio bunny, mostly running but I also taught some cardio box classes at our local Y. I just recently started New Rules of lifting for women and I absolutely LOVE it!! I've done some weights in the past, but never really had a good grasp of what I was doing, I really enjoy having the program…

try buying a whole roasted chicken at the grocery store and using it for a few meals. I make sandwiches, chow mein (use the thin noodles and steam with chicken broth), wraps with lettuce, tomato and light ranch or ceasar dressing, then use the bones to make a soup, you can add frozen veggies if you don't have time to chop…
