Not sure if this is anything you didn't know already... https://patientworthy.com/2017/11/21/dos-donts-exercising-with-ehlers-danlos-syndrome/

Even safer than a stationary bike, if you have any issues with your hips, you can get armchair cycles. Just the pedals, which you put in front of a chair.
-
Is there any chance you can see a specialist? A physiotherapist or occupational therapist would have a much better idea of what would be suitable.

Stationery bike? Or resistance bands?

I eat plenty of carbs, every day, but try to avoid processed carbs.

All my selfies have either my man or my dog in them.

With regards to flour, https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/308679.php This piece mentioned increased cancer risks linked to consumption of processed carbs. I realise that this wasn't the original question, but the topic of processed foods is still an interesting one. And someone said, "I also am curious how avoiding…

It's a tangent, true. Articles tend to oversimplify studies, giving the gist rather than the detail. I think that anything containing off the shelf white flour would probably fall foul.
-
Processed foods? I googled a link that might explain the aversion. There's reasonable grounds for someone to choose to avoid them. https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/eating-more-ultra-processed-foods-may-shorten-life-span

24/7 servitude? Charlie isn't a service dog. He's a rescue I picked up at the local shelter. When I got him it was clear that nobody had ever really trained him, and it was also clear that his previous owner had been elderly or frail. This particular dog is one of the most intelligent I've ever come across, with remarkable…

I'm a believer that something is better than nothing. There's going to be people who honestly can't fit in gym sessions several times a week. But most people can do something. Getting to the gym just once a week is still going to improve your body, but not to the same degree. It could be part of your routine to do squats…

All mammals and birds stretch, so I'm going to guess that there's a reason for it, even if it's not been found. And it feels good. Massage, I never got anything out of it until I hit my 40s and noticed that the areas of shin splints and foot pain felt almost grainy, massage seemed to clear it away, and away went the pain.…

I'd suggest asking your doctor. When I feel like that it's usually iron anemia, but there are lots of possible causes. The safest, most sensible thing to do is to get your bloods done.

Being serious, aside from the yuck factor, these bugs are one of the most environmentally damaging foods we eat.
-
If course you feel heavy and soft, you've just had surgery!
-
I asked my teeth. They told me I'm an omnivore. And who am I to argue with my teeth?
-
You have expensive taste in bugs :D
-
Nobody should be eating shrimps. They have too many legs. You're eating bugs! :o

Oh, and therapy is awesome. The OP would probably benefit a lot from talking about these conflicts.

I'm an all or nothing kinda person. Either you respect my right to autonomy over all of my body, or I have nothing to do with you.
-
I've met the extreme version, like people with eating disorders, but I think a vast number of people have a small degree of it, combined with an unrealistic beauty standard. Especially women. We're raised to see ourselves in terms of flaws to be improved.

Looking at the full pic, your butt looks pretty good! High and round. I think it's just that you carry weight on your belly, which makes your butt look smaller to you. You look like you're going to have an hourglass figure once you get down to a healthy BMI.

Sounds like witchcraft.

My childhood. I grew up in poverty, with undiagnosed autism, with an emotionally unstable, control freak mother who had substance and then alcohol abuse issues (due to her own abusive childhood). My adult life has been up and down, but it's all been better than my childhood. I was considerably underweight for most of my…

What sort of sore?

We all need balance. It does no good to persue health at the expense of happiness, or happiness at the expense of health.

Long walk/run around 5-6am. The motivation for that one has four legs, a fat head, and a drool problem. Weights at some point in the evening. I only have to walk as far as the lounge, and the toyboy is always willing to spot me. Working out makes you less tired, I find. If I don't work out for a while, I spend most of my…

Yeah, I'm one of those horrible, smug people who just jumps up, gets dressed and head straight out. Well... I head straight out after spending ten minutes crowbarring the mastiff off the sofa. He's not a fan of mornings!

As you're underweight, and really can't afford to lose, just go with whatever number is higher. The numbers are never going to be 100% accurate, because everyone is different. Be brave, push yourself a little extra to get to the slightly higher goal, and good luck <3

Aps tend to overestimate what you've been burning, so a lot of people eat back half. I don't eat them back, but set my activity level higher to cover exercise. Some people feel drained if they don't eat them all back. Trial and error is probably the best way to decide. Good luck!
