When I used to do care work, I'd could be literally cleaning the poop off an 80yo, and within minutes of that they'd be making inappropriate advances. Compared to that, a friendly chat is practically foreplay :s

Eurgh! It's 5.45am, and my day so far has been pretty frustrating. I finally drop off, after hours of insomnia, and then the toyboy wakes me up after less than half an hour. Oh, he's still snoozing happily, and I've yet to amputate his stupid, pointy knees and elbows in a fit of rage. My day is not going well so far.

1, I'm a terrible friend. I just don't have any inclination to maintain friendships. I forget people exist if I don't see them around. 2, My favourite sandwich filling is cheddar and ketchup. 3, I've never had any injuries treated or checked out, preferring to rely on tape, superglue and inventiveness. 4, I have a trick…

Most watches overestimate calories. It depends. If you have your MFP activity level set sedentary, you can eat some or all back. If it's set to a higher activity level to include exercise then it includes the assumed exercise calories in its calculation, so eating them back would put you over your intended deficit.

I misread the title as "underwear pole", and now I'm disappointed.

How are you with cycling? Although you're using feet/ankles, it's a limited movement and a reduced force. ou might be ok, or it might be terrible. A punchbag can make for pretty intense cardio. You're on your feet but you can reduce the footwork to something comfortable.

My brain. Love that squishy lump of pink and grey smartness <3

Oh, I do that a lot. Especially to my partner. I start zoning out on all the words and noise and words and noise and words...

When people snore. :# I'm posting this at 2.44am.

A much younger partner. There's a 12 year age gap, and very occasionally I really feel it! Older guys with more experience know that, in the face of pms, you offer chocolate and back away s-l-o-w-l-y.

... I'm not good with people. :/
-
People who phone me when they're busy. If you can't hold a conversation, why are you calling me?!?!?
-
People parking on the pavement, so that prams and wheelchairs have to go into the road.
-
People with small dogs that yap constantly, and walk small dogs on unreasonably long leashes.
-
The toyboy being needy when I'm pms standoffish.
-
When people presume everyone should have the same drives, advantages and abilities that they do.

Me too.

Therapy. If you're trapped in thought patterns that reduce your quality of life, therapy can really help. It's a brain detox.

You need a balanced and varied diet. There's no way you're going to get everything you need from only two basic ingredients. Chicken and broccoli are great, but if you want to get all your nutrients you need to add a lot to that. Plus, you're going to get bored! So very, very bored. If you aren't a confident cook, or lack…

I'm autistic and didn't even speak until I was four. Communication doesn't come naturally. Bite me.

Making people feel ugly does more harm than good.
-
I'm all for body positively, nobody should be ridiculed or made to feel ugly, I think it does far more harm than good. How many threads have been made by someone wanting to exercise but being ashamed to because of people judging their weight? It's a public health issue. Like smoking, drinking to excess, etc. not an…

Oh she says she'll be back in a few weeks...

I don't agree. With mixes, you don't know which parent the dog will take after most, but they're both solid gundogs, built for working. Poodles are fairly heat tolerant (though, as with any dog, you always have to monitor) and they're certainly built to run. In the 70s a guy used to run a poodle team in the Iditarod, and…

Just a thought... Have you got space and finance for two dogs? Two aren't much more trouble than one, in fact it's easier in some ways. If you do, you could head down to the local rescue pound and, literally, take a few out for a test run.

I made myself a sort of black forest gateaux smoothie. Loads of black cherries, oat milk, and a scoop of chocolate protein powder. Second only to a Full English, it's one of my favourite breakfasts.

I don't have any physical disability, but I've cared for people who do. I thought I'd leave this here, because they're often suitable for people who struggle with exercise. Armchair cycles.

I actually have no idea what you're talking about... Could you elaborate?

You don't ever want to be in a position to regret not getting the safety catches.

Unless you're diabetic... fun with your kids matters more than a couple of hundred calories that are within your goal anyway. You're baking with your kids! Sharing those cookies will be a memory that makes them smile when they're baking with their own kids. Or grandkids.
