I'm in! Time to stop the negative self talk and change what I see in the mirror! I'm new to the group challenges, so how do we do this? SW 206 GW 145

Add me, please! I am 5' 1" and need to lose 60. I keep starting and stopping. Maybe I'm like you and need a new setting!

I have been an "on again/off again" person most of my life too. You're not alone, but it's lonely off the wagon for me. When I am off the wagon it is a dark and humiliating place for me. I am working on doing positive self talk and forgiving myself for a bad day. I found this quote today and it really applies to me. Maybe…

These are FANTASTIC!! Thanks to everyone for posting. Such an important reminder that the number on the scale is not the only factor in our victories. If I can keep this in mind, I think I will be more successful this time. I will DEFINITELY be looking for more threads like this as time goes on!

I am just beginning to train for a half marathon in November. I did one last fall and was 13 pounds lighter...so I'd like to get back to that weight by November. Ultimately I have 25-30 to lose thought. I'm a bit nervous, too because I know how HUNGRY I was when I got into the really long runs!

I'm sending you a friend request! I am back at it also! Lost (and now have gained back) almost 40 pounds in 2 years. It's great to have friends to keep you connected, motivated, and focused.

Thanks for all of the encouragement! The frustrating part, is that I truly know all of the things that were suggested. I have an idea of why my expectations are so high (related to my childhood) for myself. I have been in counseling due to losing my younger brother to suicide (20 years ago...counselling for 10 years!),…

Thanks everyone! Great information and suggestions. I am aiming for 75g daily. I am training for a race at the end of March and I'm finding that I am very hungry with the work outs. Adding the protein will help, I hope! :)

Thanks for all of the encouragement! I wasn't expecting so many people to respond. For about 4 months I was getting up early and working out before work. My husband has had 2 emergency surgeries since October. That's when things started falling apart. I have to manage schedules for the entire family since he can't drive or…

Today I completed day 2 of 30 DS! I am in pain in the strangest places (like my armpits!) but I am ready to get to it again tomorrow! I need to take measurements so I can see the actual progress. Thanks for the motivation!!! *P.S. Love the pics!!

I'm with you on this one!! Another gross drink is called the Four Horseman...have NO idea what 4 kinds of liquor are in it, but it is nasty!!!

OHHH...so good!!!

You said it!!! There are so many negative people out there just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Someone even wished me good luck and warned me that by the third month, I'd fall off (like she did). Funny thing is, it's been 6 months and although it hasn't been easy or perfect, the transformation is mine and it's…

Great job! You can do it...keep working at it! I have gotten a little disappointed with the numbers on the scale this summer, but like you, I tried on some items that were snug in June and they are very comfortable now...so inches mean more than the number on the scale!

Missy looks like she just got away with something!
