I have the same problem. I weigh myself every two weeks now instead of weekly and it makes me feel good if it says ive lost 2lbs instead of 1lb.

The support is great, keeps you on the straight and narrow. I think its hard for people, like my husband, who are at their ideal weight and have never had to lose weight to understand how hard it is!!

Yeah, i just say i'm not pregnant, its just a fat belly!! then they try to back track  Its hard to stay on track when your friends and family try to entice you over to the dark side. Stick with it and soon you'll be a healthy, slender version of yourself and proud that you resisted all that temptation.

Totally!! I feel proud of myself for losing weight, treat myself, treat myself again....and again...then its back to square one!! I'm on the wagon and not coming off this time

Try yoga. Exercise shortens muscles giving them a bulky appearance but yoga lengthens and stretches the muscles giving them a long lean appearance. I still love jane fonda yoga, its retro but motivating how fantastic she looked in her 50's!!

My Wii fit seems to be pretty accurate. It always makes me the same weight as my body fat monitor so great job on your weight loss

Running has helped get rid of my podgy belly. Legs raises are good if you don't enjoy crunches.

Maybe you are letting your heart rate get too high? That would be helping your cardiovascular health but to lose body fat you need to stay within your fat burning zone and not let your heart rate get to high. Work out your fat burning zone online. Hope that helps?

I'm in too!!

Drink as mush as you can. Aim for 2 litres per day, more if you are out in hot weather, ill or exercising

Nope don't work out. When you're ill, your body needs rest and is using all the calories to fight the infection anyway. Occasionally, if you work out whilst ill the infection can travel to your heart causing a condition called endocarditis. It happens rarely, but it can happen. Best wait till you're feeling better…

Run your sweet *kitten* off!! that's helped me see daylight between my thighs again!!

Try the others to see which you like best. If they don't suit your palate stick with the 2% but make sure its organic

The point is to..... 1/ Feel better about yourself 2/ Have more energy 3/ To keep type 2 diabetes and other obesity related illnesses at bay 4/ To live longer These are only a few but there is definately a point to losing weight. You don't need to be skinny but having a normal BMI will keep you healthy and happy…

I usually do a 90 minute kick boxing class once a week, a 60 minute boxing class once a week, hill walking for 4-6 hours once a week (weather dependant) and a few runs in between. If i'm off work then i exercise more than when i'm working as i work long hours. The trick is to do something you enjoy. Thats the way you get…

I need to count. Its surprising the number of calories that pass my lips without realising!! counting calories keeps me on the straight and narrow but can bring about enormous feelings of guilt when i go over!! Good luck with your weight loss

Go for the brown rice. Bulks you up and comes out the same way it went in. Keeps you regular :explode:

I've got an app for my ipod called couch to 5k. Its a great wee app and helps you build your fitness by listening to music and alternating between walking and running. It keeps the boredom at bay.

I've added the MFP app to my blackberry and ipod touch so its easier for me to keep track of what i eat. Its great to come online when you can to get others to motivate you and chat

I love a glass of white wine but the way i get around it is by having a white wine spritzer. Pour a half or a third of white wine into a lovely big wine glass and add diet lemonade. It may seem like sacrilidge but its a lot less calories and i get to enjoy a wee tipple. :drinker:

That sounds terrible!! If your family can't be supportive to your needs and safety then maybe its time to move away and try a different school on your own. I know it harder than it sounds but your happiness and safety should be their number one priority. Good luck :flowerforyou:
