  • I have to say 3500 is a lot but if you divide it by the number of servings (for instance the 13 from you recipe) it actually comes out to a little less sodium per serving then the recipe you provided, or am I figuring it wrong? Although I'm with you the MSG is probably what makes it taste good! :)

  • I am not sure if this has been mentioned but homemade soups can be real cheap to make and you can make a great big pot and freeze individual servings. Soups can also be bulked up with veggies, beans etc.

  • I know this is a stupid question do you thaw the spinach first or just throw it in the blender frozen? My stomach doesn't like spinach in leaf form so maybe blending it will work better. Thanks for the info.
