  • pmsl. Hubby claims its a sprout gas baby. Scared my 14 year old telling him I'm having triplets.
  • Oh gosh yes. I've a very restricted diet (medically) and family treated me to lots of expensive treats. Plus my son baked me an amazing birthday cake and no-one else would share it with me as they said I'm the one who normally misses out. I also think that as it had to be gluten, dairy, egg, soya and sunflower free they…
  • I think a mixture of birthday/christmas as its been a totally crazy few days. Plus lots of sodium in the bacon from those piggies in blankets. I know it will be gone in a few days as I know I cant have managed to eat 35000 extra calories. Just decided to step on the scale for a laugh and OMG. Poured myself an extra drink…
  • I agree. Eat when you are hungry - I often eat late at night if I've been for a run and timing makes no difference. As said above it is a simple case of maths and look at what you are eating not when. Try swapping some of the fried foods for a healthier way of cooking and swapping SOME of your cabs for some fruit. Little…
  • Sorry to say but there is no link between going out in the cold and getting ill - well unless you end up with hypothermia. There are links that suggest that people who run regularly tend to get LESS cold. Just wrap at warm - with plenty of layers and would suggest using a running scarf over your face to protect your lungs…
  • Living in Yorkshire I have no choice but to run in the rain. I actually prefer this time of year and after a few mins you warn up.
  • Feel free to add me. I'm also from Yorkshire and not enjoying the awful weather at mo.
  • I agree. Unless you are hitting Scotland you are unlikely to see much snow. Infact December has been very mild. You are more likely to need something wind and waterproof and look at layers.
  • Actually it can be - I used to get hypoglycemic before diagnosis which would cause dizzy spells. Also coeliacs causes malnourishment and many vitamin/mineral deficiencies can give you such symptoms. Plus many of undiagnosed coeliacs suffer from chronic diarrhoea and this in itself can casue problems through dehydration…
  • Yes you can lose weight with gluten free - I've been gluten free over 20 years and have finally started losing weight. The substitutes do not help and now I only treat myself once in a while otherwise I would just start gaining again.
  • If you do lots of walking the Fitbit is better but if you tend to hit the gym or do other types of exercise the HRM is better. I have both
  • Not includeing text books on Maths the last book I read was number 5 of the Mallorean by David Eddings.
  • I've been told by my doctor not to have either and the NHS even say the nasal spray is not suitable for someone with egg allergy. http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/vaccinations/Pages/child-flu-vaccine.aspx
  • I have two who cant have milk and at a recent party someone thought it would be ok to give my daughter a chocolate bar. Felt like leaving her with them for the next 48 hours while she was sick.
  • Have been following you on here and so pleased that you are now having the surgery. Wishing you all the best for the operation and hope you have a speedy recovery.
  • Has to be 'Eye of the Tiger' and all those Supernatural fans out there you will understand why.
  • then its up to the authorities to sort it out.
  • What makes me mad about this is that the people that its suppose to offend don't care. I'm a pagan and Yule was around long before Christmas but I love this time of year and the kids celebrate Christmas. I have Muslim friends who are far more offended by the fact that 'officials' are trying to ban Christmas on their…
  • Its perfectly normal to gain weight and i can remember reading a study done a few years ago looking at thigh measurement in women and their monthly cycles. They showed that there is an increase in measurement just before/ first days of your period.
  • you can get chai teabags - I drink vanilla chai ones black ( cant have milk) and the ones i have are caffine free. But normally chai latte is very heavy going on the calories and sugar.
  • But i like to mix my chicken and beef gravies together
  • That is what I would also suggest. Maybe also agree to each of you choosing a date night each fortnight and on his you know that its going to be a restaurant and plan it as your cheat night. Start looking into doing stuff thats a bit different and burn those calories together. You can also go to these events and not eat…
  • Whats wrong with gravy? Most of us are looking at long term goals and a little bit of kfc wont kill us ( well it would me but that down to allergies). Most if realise that there is NO bad food just some that are better kept as the occasional treat Dread to think what you think of my diary as I have sweets and treats daily.
  • Time to do the chicken dance. Well done!
  • onions, garlic and coffee - not together!!
  • I set at 1300 and eat back at least 50% of your exercise calories. Make sure you net 1200 at least a day.
  • Some apps can under or over estimate. i use an app to track my run but the calories are different from my heart rate monitor. You also need to eat back your calories otherwise it will be taking you under 1200 calories a day. What setting have you got mfp set up - if you are only trying to lose 24 lb the max you should be…
  • Opening your diary and giving us some stats would help. How tall are you, what you weight and how many calories a day are you netting plus type of exercise and if you have recently increased this? Also how are you calculating exercise calories and are you eating them back?
  • If you are washing your strap regulary and wetting it before exercise it could be the battery in the transmitter. Mine did this a few weeks ago and I just replaced the battery myself with one from amazon.
  • I'm doing a reindeer run (5k) with the kids on Sunday and we will be right at the back. I normally stay at the back anyway as I'm slow.
