Oh Yumm!

I definitely see a difference! Good job.

I love using turkey as a beef/pork substitute. Turkey isn't as flavorful as beef, but seasoning goes a long way. I make buffalo burgers by mixing chopped onion, shredded carrot, breadcrumbs and hot sauce with the turkey (just watch the sodium!) Try a turkey brat - so good and a fraction of the calories/fat!

Love that you asked and love the suggestions

Try Red Robin's turkey burger in a lettuce wrap. It's delicious, low calorie and not that high in sodium. Did I mention it's delcious?
-
Lunch meat - I never realized how much sodium was in it.

Ditto

For dip, try Marzetti Greek Yogurt dip. It comes in Artichoke Spinach, Cucumber Dill Feta and a Ranch variety. It's really good with veggies, crackers, chips, etc. I also get low fat pretzels for something easy and crunchy. Watermelon is always a hit. Bring items for sandwiches For dinner try Jennie-O lean turkey brats,…

Oreos... those things are like crack.

spinach - I add it to everything as a filler

For turkey burgers, I add shredded carrots and finely chopped onions. I add spinach to all my sandwiches, scrambled eggs, pastas, etc.

I do lots and lots of math on the treadmill to keep me occupied. Examples: if I burn this many calories per minute how many total will I burn? Or if I walk at 3.5 mph how far will I walk in 15 minutes? If ive walked 4/5 of my time and burned this many calories whathow many do I have left to burn? Okay, so its dorky but…

I've actually heard it helps with weight lose by staggering your eating habits. Your body doesn't get too comfortable with anything. Depending on who you ask, some people look at daily caloric goals, others look at their weekly caloric goals.

Hi new friend!

I've switched from beer/margaritas/whiskey/rum/beer/daquiris/long beaches/long islands/beer.. wait, did I say beer yet? (Give me a break, I'm a Wisconsinite!) to vodka. When I go out with friends (boating, camping, etc) I bring my own booze. I bring Voli, Skinnygirl, or Little Black Dress Vodka and use Crystal Light…

Feel free to add me. I average around 1,400 calories/day, except on excercise days I typically go up to 1,700. I started with 100lbs to lose, now I'm at 80lbs, but I understand the boat you're in. Be warned though, you will see McDonalds (or other fast food) from time to time in my diary. I don't believe in completely…

I typically use the treadmill and eliptical for my cardio. I do a couple days on the treadmill walking on an incline, then switch to eliptical for a few days. It keeps me from getting too comfortable with a specific machine.

Welcome! Feel free to add me. Good luck on your weight loss

I completely agree. Last night I ate out and over-indulged. This morning, I worked out. No harm, no foul. I refuse to cut things out of my diet that are unrealistic long term.

Watermelon. Virtually calorie free, loaded with water, and keeps you full. Plus it's delicious.
