I don't count. I am vegan and couldn't lose weight. Then I went WFPB (whole food plant based). Once I cut out the oil and processed food, the weight started dropping off. And I get to eat nuts and avocados every dday.

It depends on how you go plant based. Oreos are vegan. Swedish fish are vegan. There are plenty of processed foods that are vegan. If you go WFPB then you can relax on the logging. Whole food pant based means no added sugar, oil, nop processed food.

I am vegan and eat a whole food plant based diet but when I was transitioning, I used Gardein products when I needed a "meat". Slowly use them less and add veggies in their place.

There are a ton of good groups on Facebook. Some are pretty strict but Trying Vegan has some great tips for those starting out and it understanding. I also highly recommend cleanfooddirtygirl.com. Also look to see if you have any meetup groups close.

When I first went vegan I tracked my nutrients in cron-o-meter. Depending on your current weight, 83g seems high. We really do not need that much protein.

My woe actually calls for a night where you eat things that spikes your insulin to reset your hormones. I gain around 4 pounds the next day but it comes off within 3 days. I did the 4% one but will not do it again. Way too easy for someone to cheat. It is very easy to conceal a 5 lb weight in your start photo.

When my doctor told me I needed to reduce my exercise I thought she was nuts too. But it helped. I feel so much better and the numbers on the scale started going down. I am glad you are open to trying to ease up a bit and see what happens. :smile:
