Google non weight bearing exercises and look for things that will elevate the heart rate and that he would be able to do. Cycling, stationary bikes and most upper body workouts should be okay. Hope all goes well and hope this helps!!!

Exactly what I was going to say. Part of the reason we are on this journey is because we have been dishonset with ourselves. I have used this platform to be real and honest with myself. It's about learning ourselves and trying to be a better healthier version of ourselves. So, in saying all that be real with who you are!

Welcome!! I started on my weight loss journey about 2 weeks ago even though I signed up for MFP a while back...I was'nt ready...LOL! Now I'm in it to win it! I wish you much success and I also would like to lose at least 100lbs...but I focus on mini goals because that number is sooo overwhelming! Feel free to add me!

Have you tried 30 day shred with Jillian. She mixes cardio with strength training and has an exercise that is meant to work out the pouch that most of us ladies have. It's called the reverse crunch. I'm sure you can find it on youtube. Hope this helps!

I feel the same way! Please feel free to add me. I have had PCOS since I was 19 (31 now) and the weight became more and more difficult to lose as I got older. Just started using MFP even though I signed up a while back. I'm ready to do this for ME! Let's motivate each other and share our stories!
