  • @shadow2soul thank you so much! That did help me get a better understanding. Basically you just have to be as active as you say, otherwise if you're not you should have eaten less calories for that day. Thank you. I'm excited to get mine. I asked hubby for one for Xmas.
  • I also have pcos, it's been a battle but I seem to ignore it as far as my weight goes. He main thing it does to me is excess hair, which gets me down.
  • @shadow2soul I'm not really sure how it works, I don't even have one yet. I just am reading a lot of posts and it seems very confusing.
  • I also have just started watching my diet and calorie/macro intake. And so far down 6lbs. And it's been a couple weeks. Haven't changed my exercising much at all. Within the month I will be adding exercise. I think with more exercise comes quicker weight loss than just diet. But definitely a diet change you will lose…
  • Thank you! It kind of makes sense lol. I guess I'll see when I get it. I don't have to link them though right? And just log whatever calories my Fitbit says I've burned in exercise and step mode? Or is mfp calorie estimate more accurate than Fitbit? I'm so new to this, I'm sorry lol
  • This it also true. Sometimes I have to grab something on a super busy day, you just gotta try and get the healthiest possible, and if not, ah well, everything in moderation as long as it fits within your budget. They are just a lot more calorie dense for what little nutrition some things carry. So you just gotta think if…
  • I am looking into a charge HR, so basically if I link it from reading all of these posts it will just log my exercise automatically? And the calories will show as exercise? The same as if I were to manually enter calories burned? I'm hearing about it lowering calories instead of adding calories. I do not eat my "exercise…
  • I seriously had this addiction also. After moving out on my own I thought "hey, I can eat whatever I want now" and ate a lot of it. It became a vicious cycle. I was addicted To it and it became something I needed rather than wanted. I actually became sick of it but it was convenient and I craved it. Habit I guess.…
  • Done! Always good to have as many friends on here as possible to keep me motivated. I usually check my app religiously. Added!
  • I wouldn't worry too much! Sometimes I'll eat good everyday and be under by like 300cals. So I figure 300 cals times 6 days is 1800 cals I could have eaten and been fine. So if I take one day and over eat, it evens out. As long as you jump back on the horse tomorrow and start fresh!
  • Protein powder, I love isofemme strawberry fiesta, it's yummy. And not as gritty as others.
  • Chips Ice cream - especially DQ blizzards or dipped cones. Yum. Poutine - anywhere! And I work in a mall, right beside a food court. Everyday is a battle for me and everyday I pull through. Except cheat days I usually dig in haha.
  • I don't own cinnamon sticks, does plain cinnamon in the powdered form work too?
  • You can still lose weight. As long as you're not eating too many calories. If you're still in a calorie deficit you will still lose weight no matter what you eat. Just wont be healthy.
  • Names Ashley, from Ontario, Canada,. Am 24, work retail for now, and also a superintendent with my fiancé for our apartment building. :)
  • I wish there was something effective. I'm on a budget as well. And I've tried waxing, shaving, creams, you name it. Recently, last Christmas my mom spent 350$ on a No-No! & don't waste your money on that either. Doesn't work. it slows the growth on my arms, but it still grows back. Sometimes if I have a couple days off…
  • thanks for the tips/ i am honestly broke, and ALL of my pants do this. especially my workout yoga pants ! i hate it.
  • smile and cheeck bones ! :) my pro pic is hard to see in the thumbnail :(
  • i use todo that gym, no contract, did it monthly. i may start doing that when my contract runs out, i'[m not sure though.
  • i agree. instead of looking down on people who may not know it all, if you think you know it all, then teach us something instead of criticise. or go to school and make a career out of how much you know !
  • yes but it is a lot healthier than a full bag of ruffles chips.
  • Food is food. It's tough to eat pure natural and healthy. All the time. Just eat what you want. We can exercise hard, eat perfectly, but we're all going to die anyways. Nutella may not be healthy, but it's better than other things. A fish sandwhich with some processed cheese and mayo, better than a greasy beef burger with…
  • this actually goes away after a while. i gagged the whole first day i started taking mine, every burp, i dreaded burping. but now it's very faint. barely notice it.
  • I HATE taking medicine. Although, I thought while trying to lose weight, I might not get everything I need in my food. & it's too tiring to try and get everything in everything I eat. So why not a little bit of help to make sure you atleast get some right ? Only pills I'll take are vitamins/supplements. Daily Multi with…
  • My opinion is that it is great for people who aren't well enough, or mobile enough to be able to lose the weight through diet and exercise. I know of someone in a wheelchair who had only had one leg. She had gained a TON of weight by being depressed/in a wheelchair after losing her leg. Because she didn't get the exercise…
  • i am bad for this too. you can tell when i'm on my period or having a bad day because if i go to subway, i'll get cold cut instead of ham. and i crave chips, and junk food. i try to stop myself, but sometimes it makes you more miserable ontop of the crazy hormones. so i just give in. i don't overindulge, but indulge. that…
  • i don't think it matters really. i j ust know that you are suppose to eat a certain amount of hours before sleeping. because if you eat too close to sleeping, you will not get the sleep you need, especially if you're working out and trying to lose weight. your body will be too concentrated on digesting. so it's not…
