If I recall correctly, last year's home opener was on Good Friday also. It's a holiday here. Some businesses are closed but we don't completely shut down. Angels spring training is in Arizona...just a 4-5 hour drive from my house. And it also works out perfectly to go and visit my parents too!!

Our home opener is Friday, April 6th against Kansas City. I'm hoping to buy tickets early enough this year so that they aren't super expensive. I waited too long last year.
