  • Right there with ya on day 1. Although I didn't plan accordingly so I guess I'm doing my research for now. I will definitely hit the gym tonight. I can feel your pain though. I'm a single mom of 2. My family lives out of state so I don't have too much help when it comes to the kids. I'm trying to find a schedule that works…
  • Standing tall at 5'3 and looking to lose at least 35 pounds. Then I will assess the situation again once I get there. Need to refocus and remember why I'm doing this. Friends always welcome!
  • Looks like an amazing group of females ready to attain some goals and motivate each other in the process! I would love to join if you are still accepting people. Just turned 35 last month. I stand tall at 5'3 and weighing in at 175ish. Looking to drop at least 35 pounds and then assess the situation again once I get there.
  • I will be 35 on Friday. Standing tall at 5'3. My weight keeps fluctuating around 175. Would love to lose 35-40 pounds.
  • I think starting over is definitely harder than simply starting in the first place. I have had the hardest time getting back on the wagon and staying focused. I know what I want and I know that I've been there before but I can't seem to stay focused and motivated long enough to see any type of results. I know that this is…
  • Same...I'm in Anaheim!!
  • Honestly...that's exactly what I've had to do. I started to get super sleepy just about an hour before I was supposed to get off of work and head to the gym. I wanted to talk myself out of it but knew better. As always, so glad I got to the gym and got my workout done!
  • Hi ladies! I'm in! I'm only 15 pounds away from my heaviest weight and I have no desire to find that number again. Hopefully this challenge will help to keep me motivated and focused. Please feel free to add me if you would like.
  • I'm in the same boat girl! Currently getting ready to get back on the wagon. 2016 has been very overwhelming so far so I've decided to make myself small goals each week or even month. I think I get so easily overwhelmed by all that I need to accomplish and don't know where to start first but I think that mapping out some…
  • Woohoo...good for you! I have had a ton of major life changes lately and have used food as my comfort. I can no longer fit into the majority of the clothes in my closet. I don't have the money to buy a new wardrobe and also refuse to buy anything in a bigger size. I need this so bad. Wishing you the best girly! Feel free…
  • Personally, I have to work out on an empty stomach otherwise I feel like I'm going to throw up regardless of the workout that I do. I would say don't try to go balls out your until you feel that you are ready to really go for it. Do the modifications and ease your way up to the standard moves. You can do Level 1 as long as…
  • I confess...I too, was a creamer with a little bit of coffee drinker! I felt just like you...it was a waste of calories and my body doesn't seem to like it so much so I finally just kicked the habit. Getting healthy finally meant more to me than that creamer. It hasn't necessarily been easy because there is always a full…
  • Guilty! I was just thinking about this very topic a couple of days ago!!
  • Hello there shorties!! Last time I checked, I was 5'3 and I'm 32 y/o. My highest weight was at 182 long before I even had kids. I have fluctuated lately up into the 150's. When I started to get serious (again) about this healthy lifestyle, I weighed in at 148 and I'm currently hovering around 142. I can't wait to break…
  • What are you going to do to stay on track through the weekend?
  • I think weighing in every day can turn the scale into your own worst enemy...especially for reasons like that. I know that it's easier said than done but the number on the scale shouldn't negate whether we feel good about ourselves. We should feel good because we feel comfortable in our own skin and because we fit into our…
  • I'm in! Feel free to add me. I've gotten on and off the wagon more times than I would like to admit. I've had a good, positive run at this before but since then, I've had the hardest time getting back to where I need to be mentally. So I've decided to try something new this time around. For the month of March, I'm simply…
  • Start with a small attainable goal and build from that. I'm sure that your confidence about the whole situation will start to improve as you begin accomplishing your goals...no matter how small they are.
  • Hi ladies! I'm Bethany, 32 years old, single mama of 2. I commute 3-4 hours per day for work at a full-time job. I'm having the hardest time finding where I need to be mentally to make this change happen. It makes me wonder if I simply haven't hit rock bottom yet but I don't want to get to that point either. What I do know…
  • Don't let her negativity undo all of your hardwork! You should keep doing what you're doing and let her notice that your body is slightly changing in a positive way. She is just a negative person and can't get herself where she needs to be mentally so she is trying to blame everyone else rather than owning her issues.
  • I've started and stopped this program at least twice but would absolutely LOVE to finish it! Running a 5K has been on my "to-do" list for the last couple of years and I would love to be able to set out for something and accomplish it. I'm hoping to get a gym membership this weekend so that I can stay focused and get it…
  • KATNOTFAT - I made myself a chart as well so that could check off the days that I have completed and see my progress! I feel so godo when I get to check a day off. MamaFunky - I have a HRM and log what it says that I have burned. I added the exercise and named it JM 30DS.
  • SusanRechter - all levels are available on You Tube. Ruth947 - I've heard about Skinny Fiber. How do you like it?
  • I just finished up Level 1 Day 4 last night. I have attempted this many times in the past but I don't think that I've ever made it past day 4. I do not do it daily. I aim to work out 3 days per week. I'm glad to have found a group that is also doing it at the same time that I am. I just upped my weights to 5 pounds last…
  • I've heard plenty of times that abs are made in the kitchen. You may not be looking for a six pack at this point but cleaning up your diet might really help.
  • I buy the Ball Park smoked white turkey franks and make pigs in a blanket with them. If you've never had those hot dogs, they taste just like turkey deli meat. Pair with some veggies and there is a meal!
  • Let's keep this thread going!! Everyone is truly inspiring!!
  • I only have my personal account for now but I have been contemplating starting a fitness account also.
  • I'm gonna make this one tonight. I can't wait to try it. I will be sure to come back and let you know how it goes.
  • I have seen the 2nd recipe before but was leery of making them because they hadn't gotten very good reviews from the few people that had tried them in the forum. But sounds like I need to give it a go. I only have chocolate protein powder right now though and will probably try only a few scoops as well. I'm hoping to get…
