I'm a confused omnivore. Sometimes I eat meat, others I don't. Although I have been experimenting with the vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. Some of the foods would take some getting used to. LOL @ the olive on a toothpick comment. I feel your pain. Yep, belly fat is the most stubborn fat of all that I've found. My go to snacks are one plain rice cake with peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or pumpkin seed butter. A piece of fruit, or some greek yogurt or cottage cheese. Ditto at 53. I've never been into labels. Not to say that I don't buy a name brand every now and then, but I don't let labels consume me. Kids only repeat what they learn.

I eat a lot of the Nature's Path Organic Cereals, I'm on the Raisin Bran with flax right now. I love them, and they are flavoured with fruit juice instead of sugar. :)

Honestly, take pictures. You won't notice because at one point, you look at yourself every day. Pictures will show your progress, so you will be able to see it yourself. :)
