Vanilla almond milk warmed with cinnamon and agave, banana sauteed in honey and cinnamon, homemade banana ice cream (freeze banana chunks, run in a blender or food processor with your choice of sweetener/nut butter/etc, until smooth), frozen grapes, flavored Greek yogurt. Get on Pinterest, there are tons of ideas. :)

Olive oil and coconut oils are good. I've researched a vast amount on the spray/imitation butters. I don't buy them for a reason. If it's healthy fats like above, go for the real deal.

The fruit in sugar is absorbed and used by the body differently than any other sugar forms. This is because of the fiber that accompanies the fruit/veggie; it's works to slow the process of absorption of sugar. If you're drinking a soda or eating a candy bar, there's nothing else to go along with it except fat and carbs.…

I won't lie - it was amazing lol. I served it with whole wheat linguine and even the kids gobbled it up.

Like everyone is saying, sleep is key. Then eating right, and supplementing what you don't get in your diet. I take vitamin D, antioxidant blend, vitamin B, multivitamin and garlic. I forget to take them a few times per week but that's okay cause some of them are fat soluble so it stays with me. Vitamin D will do wonders…

MFP is a dating site... and then it's a calorie counting site. Yes I am an authority because I met my husband on here. :)

I suddenly feel regret coming on for even starting this thread....lol http://www.huffingtonpost.com/judith-j-wurtman-phd/chocolate-depression-and-_b_672556.html It's just a starch source. And we probably get some frustration out by crunching down on them rather than punching people in the face, which is what I want to do a…

Dear Lord people, this person asked for help, not for this to turn into Jerry Springer. Go start your own thread and ruin it with insulting each other. Anyway OP, I don't cut sugar just because I like it. Plain and simple. I have made some modifications though like natural peanut butter with no added anything, agave or…

Considering I'm going into the culinary world and love nothing more than to cook, bake, create and wait on my friends, this doesn't see chauvinistic in the least.. women who can't find their way around a kitchen, aside from opening a frozen meal are what disappoints me lol

Okay, I hear and understand your thoughts, so here a few things I'll point out; Genetic mutation - "Changes in the nucleotide sequence of the genetic material (i.e. DNA, or RNA, in the case of viruses), which are usually caused by copying errors during replication that further lead to base substitution, insertion, or…

A) I'm well aware they have double meanings - this is my point. People treat 'retarded' like it has double meaning; one for a person and one for something that is dumb/stupid. B) Clearly the more important point of this post was that spic doesn't have a 'k' on the end. [/quote] Is there a reason you are being defensive? I…

I agree with most everyone so far lol.. I'm a prior offender - I would use words and not really think about what I was saying. Now that's different. I'm just trying to make people aware and it isn't even so much about the word itself, it's more about people being sad for me that I have a "special needs" child. They would…

:flowerforyou: Thanks for the backup Dustin, was Einstein wrong, or just capable of having a theory that was unable to be proven otherwise in his time...? Fact: in science, there are no facts/proof, only evidence. Fact: scientists live to prove each other wrong. Fact: I've used the word prove more in this post than all…

Touche, however, I will take the free time that I undoubtedly possess and articulate a few facts for you. 1) "None percent" is not the proper vernacular for what ever it was you were trying to execute. 2) I have neither the funds, ability or time to travel said "none percent". 3) When your house is cleaned, children are…
