Step is a great burn and gets your legs in killer shape! I prefer kickboxing now but loved step, too. Our old gym offers classes in both and they are as packed as zumba. Great question about a DVD, I would be interested in a fun step video as well. Congrats on finding an exercise you love, that's at least half of the…

Sammy wasn't my first concert but I saw him when he opened for Boston back in the late 70's. No one knew who he was, but he stole the show. My first concert was Cheap Trick... a little bar in the middle of nowhere managed to book them just before they broke nationally. Incredible!

I started the 30 Day Shred again two days ago. This will be my second time through it... and it's not a whole lot easier so far. Darn! This time, I will be alternating it every other day with kickboxing/HIIT workouts to break it up a bit. Also, will be logging everything, getting in my fluids, and making a point of eating…

Hi! This sounds like a great mini goal and just what I need before Christmas arrives. I've lost 38 lbs since joining the site, a little over halfway to my initial goal of 75, and am in need of extra motivation to see this thing through the holidays. Good luck, everyone!

If possible, a few days before your interview, park near the building at lunchtime and observe the women. Dress a marginal step up but in something that feels comfortable on you. Make sure you look well put together from the waist up since most interviews will have you sitting at a table... neat hair, trimmed nails, a…

For allergy reasons, I had to give up soy-based products and regular dairy due to the growth hormones and antibiotics (can tolerate regular cheeses in small amounts and yogurts). I gave up regular peanut butter because it kicks in my cravings, something about the hydogenated oil, sugar, and salt as well as the texture. I…

Thanks for posting this topic! I have a similar problem where my net calories often end up way under my daily goal. I'm not too picky but want to make healthy choices at the end of the day. Since you're watching your fat intake, I wondered if you like pasta dishes? I make pasta casserole with Bertolli Fresh Tomato Basil…

I've lost 45 lbs total (25 lbs before coming to MFP and another 20 since joining at the end of April). In between those losses, I spent a great deal of time in "unintentional maintenance mode" because of inconsistent food choices... too litte fiber, not enough water, and having snacky treats too often. Loads of great…

Try tracking tracking sodium, sugar, and fiber on your diary then increase your fiber intake and cut back on sodium and refined sugars. Cut back (or eliminate) potatoes/potato products for a few weeks to see if that gets your weight moving again. I have endocrine issues and have found that a baked potato stalls my loss and…
