Add me! I'm a huge geek as well :3 I'm currently working to get into Tomb Raider shape. I used to cosplay her (had like 6 of her outfits...) but I've gotten sooo out of shape. I wasn't super fit to begin with, but she's my current inspiration. I'm hoping to have a new Tomb Raider for Colossalcon 2017. Now that the weather…

I just started at a gym and my trainer said it's typical to see consistent strength gains for the first 6 months or so, then it starts to take more time. But I think it would definitely benefit you to try out different lifts/exercises to switch it up and challenge different muscle groups.

If you're not so sore/tired the next day that you're discouraged from exercising, I'd say you're fine. Pushing yourself too far would be going to the point of you never want to be on a treadmill/elliptical again. If you have the drive to keep going, take advantage of that and keep going :]

I did a study abroad in South Korea during college. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to cook in our dorms, so I either had to eat in the cafeteria, eat out, or eat ramen. Learn to love kimchi. It's served with everything and it's actually hella good for you. One thing that I found is that going out to eat, depending on…

Just remind yourself of your goal, and think about how much longer it'll take if you deviate from your calorie plan.

Stop losing weight when you feel happy with how you look in the mirror. I mean...as long as you're still within a healthy BMI and not underweight. It doesn't matter what other people think because at the end of the day you're the one living in your body. If you're happy with it that's all that matters.

It was the opposite for me when I went abroad. I studied in South Korea for a semester in college. I wouldn't say the food was healthier, or that I didn't eat as much, but I walked almost everywhere since I didn't have a car or bike, and the campus was huge. I didn't really lose much weight, but I did slim down.…

How long have you been on your depression meds? Could it be they're either not working anymore or it's just not the right chemicals for you? You might need to try another medication. Don't feel like you're going to fail at this <3 one day will not make or break your progress. Have you been stressed about anything in…

I think a big part of being able to get up in the morning is getting up at the right time. I have three alarms that go off in the morning; 5 am, 6 am, and 6:30am. Normally I don't get up until 6:30, but lately I've been getting up at 6. It's easier to get up if I'm getting up at the right point in my sleep cycle. I feel…

Lean proteins like chicken or fish are great. Salads are awesome as well, and you have so many options for switching it up. What kind of "unhealthy" foods do you like? You could try doing a healthy version of your favorites.

I wouldn't ever call diet the "easy part", so trust me you're not alone. Sometimes it's just really hard to not eat the tasty things that you want. What do you typically do when you want to eat? Do you eat and then log or log then eat? Sometimes logging something you're thinking about can really help deter you from eating…

I've started doing yoga at home before work, and I'm planning to add pilates and cardio in the evenings. Blogilates on youtube is awesome, because the majority of the videos require no equipment and the equipment that is used is really basic, easy to get stuff.

Try drinking more water for a few days, as in 8 glasses AT LEAST.

Oatmeal has always been filling for me when it comes to breakfasts. For late night snacks, as long as you stay at or below your calorie goal you should be fine. Try doing raw fruits or veggies or maybe cheese or yogurt.

Anywhere from a couple days to a week for me. Tea is definitely a good option to wean yourself off of caffeine! Going cold turkey doesn't work for everyone, so don't worry if it takes a while.

I like to stock up on meats when they're on sale, then throw them in the freezer until I need them. Canned and frozen veggies are great, as well as rice and pasta. Canned chicken and tuna are also good options. Buy the generic brands whenever possible, and pay attention to sales :]

Maybe try focusing on body fat percentage instead? I also deal with EDNOS so I know how tough it can be. I obsess over the scale when I know it would make more sense to focus on measurements. I'm in the process of trying to transition and be less scale-obsessed.

"If we make it at home it's healthy." Babe...No...that's not how that works.

Typically when you lose a lot of weight at the beginning it's water weight, so it's likely that your loss will be slowing down. Don't be discouraged though :]

Try getting more fruit into your diet. The natural sweetness can be a pretty good substitute. I like frozen berries as a snack :] Also, DEFINITELY don't buy junk food. If you don't have it around, it's a lot harder to cave to a craving.

I try to get up at least once every hour, whether it's re-filling my water or going to the restroom. On top of that, I try to get in short little walks at least once a day (just a quick lap around the inside of my building, nothing crazy).

Try setting goals and rewards. So every 5 or 10 pounds you lose, you treat yourself to something (not food, but like a mani-pedi, or getting your hair done, a massage, etc.). Save pictures that motivate you to your phone or put them up on a bulletin board at home to help remind yourself why you want to stay committed.…

I think it depends on your original face shape. I have an oval face, with chubby cheeks. I'm starting to see a bit more definition in my cheeks, though. But unless you're starting with a very round face, or very chubby cheeks, I can't imagine that amount of weight loss would change very much.

Always weigh in the morning, after the bathroom, before you eat anything. Enter your weight into a tracking app like Libra and it will show you the trend so you can make sure you're on track without having to think too much about the actual number :]

I know the struggle, and it is so real... Eating out of boredom is tough to overcome. One thing I've been doing lately is if I want a snack, but I'm not hungry, I have a glass of water. This gets me up and away from my desk for a minute or two and gives me something else to focus on. You could always try deskercising, too.…

I'm trying to stick to 1350 right now (weird number, I know). I'm also hoping to get back on the exercise wagon. It's been months since I've worked out :/ I'm thinking 3-4 times a week should be do-able, but I'd like to get up to 5 times a week. Nothing too crazy or intense, since I work out at home. Thanks for the add,…
