I only measure every 4-6 weeks because it takes a while to notice a difference. Like others said--could be water retention.

I have lost 19 pounds since January 12th by doing other Beachbody workouts (Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6, and TurboJam) and drinking Shakeology (replace breakfast with it). I'm a big ball of energy. Did you take a before picture? It's really difficult to see the change in the mirror because we see ourselves everyday and it's a gradual change. Doing a before, during, and after pic will be easier to tell. Congrats on 30 pounds, that's awesome!!!!

You would need a heart rate monitor to be totally accurate but you can burn about or around 600 in an hour depending on your weight and how hard you worked.

Awesome! You should! I always post it on my facebook page and friends/family watch them and comment. Really helps me stay accountable. I used Microsoft movie maker and the webcam that's already on my laptop. It was pretty easy. Good luck!

That's plenty of time to prepare for a marathon! I'd recommend starting with the C25K program (couch to 5K). That's what I did and it helped a lot. I just discovered that mine are usually overestimated...but I much rather that than underestimate. Every so often I will use measuring cups/spoons, just so I can keep fresh in my mind what a portion of that item looks like.

Haha RoadDog--good answer. To OP--Do you really HAVE to replace everything? Sounds like you've already made some big substitutions, and there's really no replacement for delicious chocolate chips. Maybe just use a few less, but I wouldn't eliminate them. Let us know how they turn out!
