Does it matter? Just be consistent in where you measure.

There is a sight under community Recipes and there are many good low calorie recipes. I have tried several of the cookies that were good and also a cake.

That may have been a joke about the shovel but I burned 800 calories shoveling last week end. I have also gone to the fit channel on TV and done workout with them. But this snow storm I have not done any working out so have had to be careful about my eating.

Interesting!! Same thing happened to me just yesterday. Went to buy more jeans and the sales lady said what I had on looked big. Yeah I had been wearing them all day. Try a smaller size on and could not get them on. The size I had on was good right off the rack or out of the dryer. Then just wait a few hours.

If I really want something I eat it. Then work around it the rest of the day.

Interesting that most everyone lists it seperately. I take a piece of paper and calculate everything and divide it by the number of servings. I also put it in my food or my meals as Gail's potato soup or what ever. then it is always there.

I have tried eating my exercise calories. AND gained weight. I am trying to eat part of my exercise calories. When I tried to eat my exercise calories it made me not want to exercise as much. I do well if I eat what i need to have enough energy. To get calories in, I try to make it protein ie: an egg, ham and cheese rolled…

Gee, I do both. I eat breakfast (3/4 c cereal with 2oz milk) go to work out about 1 hour later and then a snack after. Usually a special K bar or granola bar but some times a slice of cheese with some kind of deli meat and I roll it up also an egg is good. Protein is the best but the carbs satisfy my hunger. This also…

Remember that thin or skinny does not always mean healthy. Biscuits and gravy are very high fat content. She is at a good age for a heart attack. Maybe invite her to eat healthy with you. Bring breakfast for both of you. Make a joke of it.

You have to figure it out by each item then divide by # of servings. I have trouble determining the number of servings. I can get the overall count/

Did not some star die getting this done??

If you go to costco on line and click on the body bugg deal, you can see peoples comments. Positive and negative.

I have a polar and love it. I use MFP which is free. The problem with the body bugg is that you have to pay a fee todown load in order to see your calories. If you do not join on line there is a device that you buy in order to see your calories. I like my polar because I can see the calories that I am burning. I try to…

I had been doing boot camp (one hour aerobic) for a couple of months lost a little but when I started walking before and after my work out I started losing 2-3 pounds a month. Like you I have little to loose and it is harder. Kick up the time you are working out. Also be sure you eat enough. That was hard for me to do. I…

I use them in bran muffins (replaces raisins, date scones and there is a recipe on cooks.com for bourbon balls with dates.

It has been great for this 67 year old. I had started boot camp 5 days a week plus MFP. I have lost 15 pounds. It has been a combination of both but could not have done it without MFP.

I burn about 100 to 120 calories a mile which takes about 13-15 minutes. my weight is 118. I think this is about right. your weight will make a difference.
-
Now I know why I have always eaten butter. Since being on MFP I have cut down but it is always real butter when I indulge.
-
I like my Polar F6. It calculates calories burned and I think it is fairly accurate. It will cost you a between 100 and 150 dollars. I think it is worth it.

I got a cheese burger at Mc Donald's once and they forgot the burger so I had a cheese sandwich.
-
yes, that seemed high to me.

Go to food and look up olive garden and I think you will find it but you may not want to see it.
-
Do you want it 29 or 291?
-
I think it is fixed
-
Are you sure that number is correct?
-
I changed mine to have less fat and more protien. I was never on target so I went back to the standard one's for MFP. I am doing better.
-
You need to eat your 1200 calories!! I do not eat all my exercise calories but you need to eat some of them. If you do not eat enough you will not loose. Counter intuitive but true. Most people will tell you to eat all your exercise calories.
-
If you were doing WW's I an a lifetime member. I stopped the points and am doing MFP and calories. 20-24 points kept me in starvation mode therefore no weight loss.
-
I have a monitor and I walk 2 miles and average 140 to 167 calories for those two miles. I can run a 10 minute mile and burn 80 calories for that mile. Hope that helps

I am 5' 2 looking at 115 as goal. I want to be fit and shapely. Skinny is not necessarily fit or shapely. Re think your goal. I agree that our goal should be 104-140. I feel that is the middle is good. I changed my goal from 120 to 115. We will see what I do when I reach 115. How I look in my cloths matters.
