Thanks everyone. I have a fitbit also and it never gives me the full amount of the exercise calories. I am not losing and i think I will try to just eat what the fitbit tells me and see how that works.

You can edit. go to my foods and pull up the one you want to edit. on the far right top it has edit. Clikck edit and go to work. I have had to do that several times. Gail

I have a polar F6 and love it. I also use the fitbit. They are pretty close in calories expended. I like the fit bit for the steps and miles but have had fun with the activity score. I feel nnow that I need both. Guess I am a gadget addict as well as exercise addict. Could be worse I guess.

First, do you have the chest strap on? DId you wet it before putting it on. Then press the center button three times. Where did you purchase the watch. They may be of some help. I also printed the manual off line because it is more help that the direction with the watch. Gail

I have been a WW for years and am life time now. I do not count points now but use MFP. With WW I think I was eating too little. Tried to so both for awhile but it was too much work. I prefer MFP.

You can go in and reset your heart rate zone. I just had to play with it and the directions. The beeping has different levels. If it is slow you are under your target zone. Fast beeping you are above your target zone and no beeping means you are in the zone. I turned the beeping off when I took yoga but it did help me stay…

I have a F6. Just wet with a little water and it is 30 minutes before I start exercising. Sweat keeps it wet. I went on line and printed a "real" manual when I was haveing other problems. Go to polar web site and they have a more comprehensive manual. Love mine and can't do without it. Good luck

Counting calories is important. Eating enough but not too much is the problem. I believe that exercise is the KEY..

MFP states that you should add the calories burned from exercise to your 1200 calories. The 1200 calories already has a deficit built in. I usually eat part of my exercise calories.

If walking the stairs is part of your routine day, I think, your sound count that as part of your normal activity that you entered when your filled out the MFP data. If it is in addition to your normal day cout it as extra. Example, I count house cleaning extra because it is not part of my daily routine but I do not count…

Just my opinion but I would not even count the work calories (standing) because that is calculated in your daily calories burned or normal activity. Yes I would count fishing if there is activity.

I do log in housecleaning because I burn 300 calories in1.5 hours. This is once a week cleaning.

By looking through the database, It looks like Jiffy and Skippy are about the same. Peter Pan is the worst. I thought Almond butter might be better but it is about the same as skippy.jiffy. I am a P/B fan also

Some people are just not morning people. Figure out you best time to commit to exercise. BUT, I have found that if I sign up and pay for a class I am more likely to attend than if I do it on my own.
