Eggs are my all time #1 favorite food (chocolate comes in a very close second). I love them in almost any form. If you're looking for a tasty treat, cut a large avocado in half, remove the pit in the middle, crack a small egg in each side of the avocado and bake at 350 until done (30 mins). I usually have to scoop out a…

^^ This is me, right here! ;-)

20 lbs in one day is not a weight gain I think is possible for most people (if any!). If your scale takes batteries then you should check them. Also, the scale should be on a HARD flat level surface, not carpet. If you're wanting to check the accuracy of your scale take your hand weights (assuming you have some) and weigh…

Congrats! I love that you're smaller and your smile is bigger! :) Great work losing those 35 lbs, you look fantastic!

bump! can't wait to try that, broccoli & cheese soup is one of my favorites!

You look great! Thanks for sharing your pictures. it's always great to see the progress of another fellow shortie (I'm only 5 feet and half of an inch).

^^ This, me too! I used to be able to see my abs and I can't wait to see them again! I'm doing the same exercises listed above to help uncover those tummy muscles again.

Congrats on committing to making healthy changes!

Love this!! A little muscle on a woman looks so great, looks so healthy! I can't wait to have a bit more of a toned look, I think I'll look much sexier! :)

Just sent a friend request - it's nice to meet you! :)

I'm 5' and half of one inch! Losing 8 pounds at your height/weight sounds like a pretty healthy goal to me, especially if you have a small frame! Feel free to add me if you're looking for a fellow shortie. :)

I'm not a fan of running, but this definitely sounds like fun.

You'll get plenty of advice, I'm sure, but hopefully you'll find what works best for you and your body. My advice is to start out with power walking. Now that your little one is 11 weeks old, maybe you can load him up in the stroller and go for a brisk walk or very light jog - maybe you can alternate the two. Once your…

I have the same problem! 5' and half an inch tall with tummy and thighs as some of my trouble zones that I want to tone up (would also love to have toned triceps and abs too!). When I swam in high school my muscular legs looked pretty good, I just want to get close to that look, even though I doubt I'll ever weigh that…

Find a local park or picnic area, maybe something with a BBQ pit that you guys can use. Tell everyone that you love seeing them monthly, but you need a change of location and that you're no longer having the gathering at your house & everyone is to bring food for their own families and that they are responsible for picking…

bump, love new recipes!

I was always told that 5'4 and under is petite (and I think most clothing manufacturers use this too). As for "frame" - I think that's a judgement call. I'm 5' and half of an inch and I don't have wide shoulders, I have a friend who is 5'2 and has very wide shoulders ... I'm called petite and small framed, and she's called…

I absolutely love this series! The super short seasons could be a little longer, but I totally love this twist on the Sherlock story. It's so clever and fresh.

Feel free to add me, I log daily and I'm usually in the forums and commenting on friend's posts Mon-Fri. I've been at this for about 3 months and I'm really enjoy the positive encouragement I've been able to give and receive. Good luck with your goals everyone!

You look incredible! Congrats on your weight loss thus far and keep up the great work as you continue your journey - you are doing an amazing job!

Swift kick in the rear, coming right up! Feel free to add me, I'm logging daily and on the forums Mon-Fri.

I've never done that dvd, but if it's like her other dvds (30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones) then I would recommend logging it as circuit training. When I logged my session of 30 Day Shred I would log 20 minutes because I excluded the warm-up and cool-down. I hope that works for you!

^^ Yes!

Have you tried Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred? I did that for 60 days (was doing it about 4-5 times a week for 8 weeks) and I felt a major difference in my body, I'm now trying some of Jillian Michael's other dvds. I'd love to do P90X by the end of this year, but I wanted to build my endurance and have at least some muscle…

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of fruit juices that aren't actually made from real fruit. Here's some info on sucralose: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sucralose
