If you are set on "sedentary" add everything active that you do- be it walking for a long time or cleaning. However, if you are set at "active" make sure you only log if you cleaned for an extended period of time and/or it was moderately tasking.

I was eating really low calorie and it didn't work out, and now I eat 1375 and I'm loosing fat consistently. 800 probably worked at first until your metabolism adjusted to low calorie.

I have a hard time studying at night, so I like to ride my bike around for a half hour or so- it relaxes me. Then I wake up and hour early and I find that I learn twice as much studying fresh in the morning. And I'm in a 5 week accelerated general chem II class right now, an accelerated math class, and working

Well said. If I had a freak out everytime I binged, I would end up starving myself for a few days, then binging, then feeling guilty and than crash dieting (aka starving) over and over. That's what I did when i first realized I had to loose weight, and I actually GAINED 10 more lbs. This way is the way to go!^^^

Well what I mean is that I will have like 600 left at 9pm so instead of eating vegetables I'll go and eat 600 cal of "bad" food. So I was just thinking, what if I cut down the cals? Then maybe I'd eat better AND loose weight faster.

Thanks guys!! I thought 6 meals/day sped up to my metabolism (it did seem to work better for me) but maybe it just forced me to choose better food options. :)

I was like that at first, but now I'm getting used to MFP and eating better/less so I don't think about food as much.

Just eat healthy and exercise... you body will fall to the weight it naturally belongs, which is probably the weight you are healthiest at and look best at. I agree! My calorie goal is 1375 and I'm normally pretty good at sticking to it, but when I drop down to 1200 I feel hungry and end up feeling demotivated. I still loose at 1375, but I don't feel hungry all day and I stick with it.
