  • I know how you feel. When I went away to school I gained the freshmen 15, about 4 times over. Try to steer clear of the fatty stuff at the cafeteria and try to watch what and how much you drink. There are a lot of empty calories there. Also, try and stay active, grab a friend and go for a walk/jog or join a class at the Y.…
  • You can also check out the USDA website. It's a search-able database that provides the standard nutrition data based on the serving size you select. This is the database that the food industry uses. Good luck and keep up the good work! http://www.ars.usda.gov/main/main.htm
  • nonfat plain yogurt (1/2 cup) with honey (1 tbsp) is very filling (11g protein) and very tasty! Good luck and keep up the good work!
