Thanks! I needed to know this too!

I substitute them in anything I would use regular potatoes for. My favorite is sliced and lightly coated with olive oil and seasonings then baked. I've also used them in soup, and casseroles. I sliced them thin and layered them with random other ingredients and topped with cheese.

That I could handle, but what about the prep and clean up? No time for that. I just grab my fruit and hit the door.

a banana and some string cheese. Breakfast on the go. It's always some kind of fruit except on weekends when I have time to make eggs.

find a personal trainer and let them set you up on a strength training program that will not harm you. If I remember correctly, I read that strength training can reduce weakness in bones and even reverse osteo. Swimming is obviously a great idea!

No one else here likes chili and slaw? You all must be from the North. I can't eat a hot dog without some good cole slaw.
-
kraft mayo with olive oil on the bun, then the dog (Nathan's all beef) topped with a thin line of mustard, homemade chili, finely chopped red onion, and homemade cole slaw (slaw always on top) << DROOL!

try the Sabra brand, roasted red pepper :-) Just try it! I eat it with Snack Factory pretzel crisps.

I do enjoy hiking in the Spring, once my allergies clear up

Lean Cuisine Salad Additions. Southwest Chicken over romaine with some shredded cheese.

Mine got smaller too but I was a DDD, now I'm a DD. For the OP: I hear that more than a handful is a waste anyways LOL

Finally! Sunday, at my uncles funeral when I saw several family members that I hadn't seen since August, November at the very latest. Everyone noticed! They all said "you look great" "you're doing so well!" "you look so happy" and of course the "what are you doing?" and the blank stare when I simply say "counting calories…

Sounds like a great idea! I'm in! CW:190 GW:180 and then continue being healthy and see what happens :-) Christmas GW: 160 (this is what I think it would take to call myself "skinny") That's a loss of 3.75 lbs/month between now and then. :-)

I've read that it is safer to walk until your body fat % gets to a healthy range. I tried running, hated it. For now, I walk.

taco soup or chili. I also make homemade stroganoff with ground beef sometimes. Another thing I do is make patties mixed with onion soup mix for a "salisbury steak" with gravy.

Congrats! :flowerforyou:

I try to reach or exceed my protein and fiber. I try to stay under on fat, and I don't have an issue with carbs usually so I'm always under on that. I don't eat a lot of sweets or drink sodas. I eat whole grain breads and pastas. I get most of my sugar from fruit.

It looks like your NET calories are below 1200, am I right? For example, if you consume 1400, then burn 300; that leaves your net at 1100... ?? Maybe you should try to have at least 1200 NET edit to say: I agree you should avoid refined sugar/carbs

In between these 2: 66 pounds = fats and oils an average American eats in a year 70 pounds = an Irish Setter I also lost my 9 year old son! (He weighs about 68)

Done. and a coworker joined me so I didn't look so silly :-)

Mine are large and I'm still at least a DD after losing 70 lbs. I don't think they'll get any smaller. I have often thought about how I would need a reduction if I were thinner and they were still bigger. I think what I would do if I could afford to, when I reach my goal, is to have them reduced/lifted and all the loose…

In that case... Only 324 calories! :-P

Thanks for filling us in. I still think it would be a good idea to see a dr. Sounds like you're on the right track, but you could have some other health issues that need to be addressed due to the way you were eating before. Also, you may need to get into a support group or some type of counseling. The sick feeling is…

Maybe a better suggestion would be something not involving the scale. For example, he could reward you for staying within your calorie goals every day or working out as scheduled. As long as you try, you should get the reward, but you shouldn't try too hard as it can lead to unhealthy decisions.

Why are you eating so little to begin with? We need some background info here. What are your "old ways"??
