It's so hard to get back to where I used to be!
This is just a vent, me trying to figure out my next move.... I could really use some type of motivation. I'm getting married in June and that isn't enough. Even the fact that my cholesterol is a little high isn't enough to make me turn off that switch that wants to eat fatty foods. I just can't seem to get back to where I…

Calorie Increase Advice...
A few weeks ago, I increased my calories to 1400 and I'm supposed to increase again to 1600. Trying to work my way up to 1700-1800/day... but I'm scared to increase bc I haven't been able to get into a workout routine. If I increase and I'm not able to stick to my workouts, that would be bad! ( I assume) I'm trying to find…

Questions for those who work in the fitness/nutrition field
I have been interested in helping others overcome self esteem issues and being healthy and fit for quite some time. However, I didn't feel that I could effectively do that until I was able to help myself. In the past 8 or 9 months, I have lost over 50 lbs through diet and exercise and I now feel that I am ready to be an…

What's for dinner?
It's 6:20 pm and I'm curious about what everyone is having for dinner. I'm waiting for my casserole to come out of the oven. I used a recipe my dad makes with layers of potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, browned ground beef with onions, and Velveeta cheese... except I used sweet potatoes instead of regular. I'm hoping it…

Odd foods in the database?
Someone posted a comment on a thread that mentioned breast milk was in the MFP database. This also reminded me that, as a joke, I once looked up "booger" and found it in the database as well. So I thought it would be fun to post a thread and list any weird things you have found in the MFP database. aaaaand GO!

Making burgers for my man...
My man loves burgers and I'm making him dinner tonight. I've been seeing recipes online for stuffed burgers but none that seem nutritious. I want to do something different but healthy, maybe try a new sauce in place of mayo, or substitute something healthier for the bun. Any ideas?
