It's today. Anyone celebrating? What are you having? Got pics?

Ironically, I woke up with a sore throat and not feeling well so I haven't had an appetite yet and it's almost noon.

I do too. I'm just wondering if there's anyone planning to eat something out of their ordinary today.

Unfortunately, that's every day for many Americans. I once read an interesting quote by a French woman about why Americans are fat:

"Who said that life is an all-you-can-eat buffet?"

    Oh my gosh...really??

I didn't know that but I am celebrating - I had been planning a cheat/binge/refeed/diet break day...whatever you want to call it but I have stalled for the last month and feel like I need a break so I all week I've been planning today as my feasting day! Having a chocolate covered strawberry right now before my run and then I'm going out for an omelette & huge order of hash browns, followed by a movie with popcorn and cheese enchiladas for dinner!!!

So...if it's an official thing, what a divine coincidence! Cheers!

 So people should not be able to eat what they want? It's eat what you want, not eat however much you want.

My point was that many Americans do eat too much too often. In short, I think this is a silly holiday, but we have tons of 'em.

I had a veggie omlette with no cheese and tea with splenda so I could enjoy a couple of the chocolates my kids gave me. I adjusted so I wont go over my calorie count but im eating what I want. Whooootttt!!
