  • Great job, congrats! He is a half of what he was in the first pic... :)
  • You can pretty much do entire P90X with resistance bands. Like others said, you can modify. If it's still too difficult, give Power 90 a look, as it might get you ready for P90X (even though many people can do X with modification). As for the diet, it's not preset, but rather "guided". If you follow some kind of a dietary…
  • +1 In addition, looking for results after only 8 days is just way to soon. Stay with it and watch your diet, results will follow! Good luck!
  • Here are all 12 P90X workouts. It is a serious time commitment... 1:Chest & Back - 52:50 2:Plyometrics - 58:36 3:Shoulders & Arms - 59:53 4:Yoga X - 92:24 5:Legs & Back - 58:56 6:Kenpo X - 58:46 7:X Stretch - 57:32 8:Core Synergistics - 57:27 9:Chest, Shoulders & Triceps - 55:44 10:Back & Biceps - 51:36 11:Cardio X - 43:18…
  • Hang in there, it will get easier!
  • Day 22 of Classic. Started first recovery week. Completed Power 90, then P90X Lean and now in the round of Classic. Bring IT! :)
  • Congratulations! It's fun comparing measurements on days 30, 60 and 90... :) I wish you success with P90X! P90X grad myself, working on a new round of Classic.
  • Most fitness programs do need to be paired with proper diet, so you will see results if you stick with your diet! Good luck!
  • You need to properly fuel your body to be able to workout, etc. If you configure your cals intake for weight loss, you will need those "earned" through exercise cals to survive without getting into starvation mode, which your body will likely turn against you...
  • One more vote for Power90. Nice program. A little dated, but still works great. Worked well for me in terms of getting into better shape and jumping into P90X right after. Good luck!
  • Sometimes you need to eat more and exercise more to actually loose weight, plus pounds are not everything, which you probably know... Body fat and other aspects are just as important, muscles weigh more than fat. Good luck!
  • Friday is my typical "cheat day"... going out with the family, etc., however, I try to make "clean" choices even then. Don't mind being over the cals level a bit on those days, but not splurging too much either. Ice cream after restaurant meal is the worth I do on those days. Good luck!
  • I use a heart rate monitor's readings to track burnt cals for most exercises.
  • If you enjoy working out, talk to your husband, see if he can support you by joining workouts with you...:) My wife and I have been working out together for the last 4 months or so, completed Beach Body P90 program and now half-way in P90X. I'm really enjoying sharing workout routines in the morning with my wife and I know…
  • Not trying to sell anything or post any links to my sites, blah, blah, blah, but here is what I know about it and what my experience has been with it for about 4 months. It's a good meal replacement shake with nice number of vitamins included. It's not cheap, but I count it as what I would spend on breakfast, recovery…
  • Masters seemed a little "low budget" and boring for me... but you can still get a good workout with it. P90X is pretty well spread, so it takes a lot more to get bored with it. For max intensity people do hybrids of P90X and insanity...

  • Timing wise, P90 Master Series came out after P90X BTW... As far as logging P90 exercises, I would recommend simply adding generic aerobic, as there is no P90/X in the db. What also helps is using heart rate monitor that calculates cals lost and making sure what you enter matches the reading of HR monitor. Good luck!

  • There is no plyo routine in the P90X Lean, yet people still see decent results... I think it's up to you and how much your knees can take. Perhaps, you can modify the moves, etc. CardioX is a nice workout, but not nearly as effective in terms of burning cals as plyo.
  • My wife and I are on day 121 of our BB programs. Have graduated from Power90 program and jumped right into P90X Lean. So far so good, love the programs, sticking with the clean eating and seeing some good results.
  • You could also try resistance bands for a while instead of free weights... Pretty effective and less chance of an injury. You can always go back to dumbbelts once your elbows feel normal again. Good luck!
  • Almond milk does not have any nutty taste IMO. Just give it a go and blend all together...give it a good blend too :) I seriously love my shake in the morning, so do many people. Not sure if you got a whole 30-day bag or perhaps some samples from your BB coach, but what do you have to lose by trying some proven recipes?…
  • I found the besting taste combo for me is when I mix choc Shakeology with about 8 - 9 oz of unsweetened vanilla Almond milk (Almond breeze). Make sure you get the one sold in the cold section of the store and not the one that does not require refrigeration. I also add about 1/4 - 1/2 of organic banana to my shake, but try…
