I'm in the 5'2" crew! Make sure to measure too! You may notice that the inches fall faster than the weight on the scale.

Thanks for posting! Keep it up honey!

Hi there! I'm not at my goal yet, but here's a progress pic. I'm also 5'2". First pic was me at 189. Second pic is me in my high 150's. Aiming to get down to the mid 140's.

Slow is much better than plateauing for 6 months (not fun)!! You have the right idea.

I NET around 1500. On workout days, I eat around 1900. I'm actually late to the NET game, but I have much more energy now than before when I was netting under 1200.

It took me about 18 months to drop 30 lbs and 18". It was a combination of weight training and cardio for me. It really "clicked" for me when I starting using a heart rate monitor. Knowing my actual calorie burn helped me eat properly. Focusing on my NET calorie goal helped increase my energy which allowed me to up my…

Interesting post, and I can relate. I started dating after I started to lose weight (from 180s to 160s) not because guys found me attractive, but because I had the confidence to put myself out there. I felt great about myself and I feel that guys were more attracted to that confidence. My (now fiancé) was attracted to the…

I swear by TurboJam and TurboFire. Fun cardio with great music. As long as you are moving your body and not popping pills to get results, what's the big deal? Do what YOU like, and find friends that support YOU. I was in the 170s when I started TJ, and it kept my heart rate in the fat burn/fitness range. After 2 months I…

Eat clean. Train dirty. Rinse. Repeat. Don't feed your appetite, fuel your body for performance. One workout won't make you skinny, and one hamburger won't make you fat.

Well done! You look fantastic!

You better wooooorrrrkkkkkkk!!!! You look incredible!!! WOW!!!!!!
-
And that's EXACTLY why I'm on here far more than Facebook!!! I need like-minded people to learn from and gain/give support.

Honey, all that matters is how you feel about yourself. Period. If others' comments are not supportive or constructive, then it's just noise that should be ignored. Just smile and nod, and keep doing you boo boo!

Well done!!!

The same weight? No way!!! Goes to show that photos tell a better story than the scale.
