You should be so proud of yourself! While I have never battled anorexia, I have battled straight lazy (not even comparing!!). It feels great to lose, knowing you are doing it the right way.

Don't try to lose two pounds a week. You will be hungry all the time and won't succeed. Go with a pound a week, cut out the junk food, count the calories, and EXERCISE. Start slow. I climb two flights of stairs a day, and I have lost 8 pounds in one week! Congrats on the engagement!!

I agree - your children need to learn good nutrition NOW, so they don't have the same issues with food. And as stated above, set a day every week where you can eat what you want. That way you don't think you are deprived, and it may even boost your weight loss, especially if you are stuck in a menu rut.

Good for you! It is hard to walk by them sometimes. My daily win - I went to lunch with coworkers at Idaho Pizza, ate ONE piece of pizza, and had salad with no cheese and lo-cal italian instead of ranch.

What I would like to say is "your butt, boobs, belly, HEAD, are too big!" But common decency really negates that. I usually go with "I appreciate your concern. My doctor seems to think I am doing quite well." Or thank you, as noted above works also.

I agree with adding good fats: 1 tsp. evoo (extra virgin olive oil) contains 30 calories.
