In Texas we get to shoot them. Personally, I'm considering setting up an elaborate maze of sharp objects in my yard so that when they try to break in, they just break a leg. Let them sue me..no jury in this state would find me guilty of anything.

I have the same one..sometimes it'll lowball your heart rate (like when I'm running every now and then it'll say 50 bpm). You have to make sure you check to see what it says. If it says something crazy, just press the button again and it'll usually give you a better reading.

Dress up as an ugly member of the opposite sex. Last year, I dressed up as my brother..made a beard out of eye shadow and everything. It was pretty grotesque.
-
Google it..there's a site that'll tell you everything you want to know, including tips and even suggested podcasts to use. I did c25k and even though I still can't do a 5k, I enjoy running, which I never thought I'd say.

Today was the first time I got to do Fire 55 EZ, and I think I love it as much as Fire 45. Week 7's done for me today  My weight is still at a stand still, but my endurance is definitely improving and I'm still losing inches, so I'm happy.

Wait..are we doing your homework for you? As a teacher, I can't approve of that.

If you want LOOSE belly fat, do nothing. If you want to LOSE belly fat, eat well, do cardio, and build some muscle.

Everyone will burn a different amount based on their size/fitness level/whatnot, so the only way to get an accurate estimate is to wear a heart rate monitor. The yoga in the MFP database lowballs on this yoga for me personally.

When I was heavier, I was always hot, and now I'm always cold. In the middle of summer (when the temps were regularly over 100), I still slept with an electric blanket. I told my friend this and he said it's a myth that fat has anything to do with how hot or cold you are. I said "okay, so then why do bears fatten up before…

Yes, you can work too hard, but don't be overly concerned about it at the moment. The first few days after you begin working out, what you're really losing is mostly water weight. After the initial big loss, it slows down because that's when you start losing the "real" weight.
-
Like everyone else said, you can't spot reduce, but cardio (according to studies, running specifically) is the best way to get the fat off. So, cardio, strength (because muscle burns fat), and your food choices are what you need to be aware of. Chalene Johnson says abs start in the kitchen.

Cardio + tricep exercises.

Chew some gum. Although I've read that if you eat an apple right before you study, it helps you remember more of what you read. I used to do it before tests and it worked for me.

I don't mind CLX cardio, but I prefer TurboFire. I'll still do CLX cardio on the days it says, though (I'm doing the hybrid). If it doesn't work for you, do something else. TurboFire, Turbo Jam, run, ride a bike, Insanity, whatever you like to do for cardio.
-
If you want fun and dance, I don't think there's a better choice than Turbo Jam.

"At the end of the day". It didn't bother me so much until my ex got me into Jersey Shore (something I'm still cursing him for). That's like half of the show..just "at the end of the day" all the time.
-
When I ran with my ex, we just went together..he's much faster than me. We were on a track, so it's not like he was leaving me in the dust or anything. Maybe that could work for you guys; just go together, don't expect one to keep up/slow down to the other's pace.

It's going kinda "meh"..I had a soda a couple days ago and a cup of coffee this morning, but that's still an improvement. It's been hard because I always wake up at night and stay up for at least an hour, and then the dogs usually wake me up pretty early. I'm trying, and making an effort, which is good, I guess.

It's just fine. They have some Pam-like popcorn butter spray now that's zero calories. It's what I used (before I got braces..now I'm not supposed to have it at all :grumble: )
-
I thought it was pretty challenging after I'd been working out for a year, but everyone's different. Give it a shot. You can make the strength part more difficult by using heavier weights if you need to.

10 miles this week so far. I say "so far" because I may or may not take a couple of my dogs for a walk later.
-
I usually steam it and put it in pasta.

You have to start using your calories on filling foods with protein and fiber. A soda "costs" about 150 calories. For that same amount, you can have a Greek yogurt, which is packed with protein and will keep you full.
-
Try Turbo Jam first if you don't want to spend the money on Turbo Fire right now. You can get the TJ DVDs on Amazon for a fraction of the cost of TF. Also, just out of curiosity, how do you know who Jillian is, but not Bob?

Hey everyone! I'm on week 6 of the hybrid schedule (Turbo and CLX) and I love it. I've only lost 3 pounds (I think I'm in a bit of a plateau lately), but I've lost several inches. If you're on the fence about getting ChaLEAN Extreme, GET IT! Cardio is great, but you want to change your body, and muscle is the way to do it.

I have a few of them, Workout 1 and 2, Yoga, Cardio Max, and Last Chance Workout. They're really good, especially for beginners. I started out with them and enjoy them a lot, even now that I'm in better shape.
-
Punching..a bag, the air, someone you hate. Punching is good cardio.
-
That's the reason I can't do anything customer service related. I would just pick a destination for them and refuse to change it.
-
No, you don't do all of them at once.

I never told my bf how much I weighed. It wasn't his business and he didn't care, so why bother?
