Proud Mary and Boom I Got Your Boyfriend are why I love that one so much.

Veggie burgers (really almost all of the veggie meats) microwave easily. Also, minute rice, canned or frozen vegetables. Oh..salad mixes and cereal as well. Cereal is a college kid staple food.
-
Herbal Essences! Although I wish they'd bring back the old formulas. I used to get a purple one with avocado and blackberries (I think..) Smelled delicious.
-
Amazon has their 5 Rockin Workouts for $13. I have that whole set and love all of them.
-
Please tell me I'm not the only one dying during any of the ab workouts. They're friggin hard! Did Fire 30 today. I like 45 better
-
Nice! You know what else is contributing to my not doing much? New fall shows just started. Lol..I'm way more active than I used to be, but in my heart, I'll always be a couch potato.

Bumping for later.

Only did 6 this week. It heated back up, plus it's harder to go running since it's football season and the football players are usually using the field. Lol

If you have a HRM, you can just create an exercise and log that way (it's what I do). If not, find something similar..circuit training, aerobics, etc.

Thanks  I've only lost one pound so far (the first three weeks of the hybrid are CLX), but I've lost lots of inches. About 8 so far. Most people, from what I've read, don't lose weight the first couple of weeks doing CLX because you're building muscle; as long as the inches are still coming off, I'm happy.
-
I didn't do the inferno plan just because it's not vegetarian and I am. I'm doing the hybrid program, which I really like because you get strength and cardio instead of just primarily strength (CLX) or primarily cardio (TurboFire). I'm in week 4 right now.

This. If your activity level is set to anything but sedentary (and it should be if you're a nurse), I wouldn't count it.

The amount of fats and oil the average American eats in a year...ewww! No wonder we're such a fat country.
-
I did HIIT 15 today, too. HARD, but I liked it.

Dirty Dancing, Grease, Breakfast Club, 10 Things I Hate About You.

Sounds like you need some strength in your workouts. Try ChaLEAN Extreme for that. Turbo Jam also has a strength workout, and even Biggest Loser has a sculpt DVD.
-
Depends on how new you are and what you like. I personally hated 30DS (and anything with Jillian, really), but I love Biggest Loser videos when Bob's the trainer. These are more for a beginner to working out, but they're very good. If you don't want your workout to feel like a workout, try Turbo Jam. It's a bit more fast…

I just started week 4 today. Love Fire45!

HRMs..I have a Sportline that I got at Kmart for $30. No chest strap, still pretty darn accurate. (I just double checked it against my pulse. Exactly the same.)
-
Just finished week 3 of the hybrid. Ready to start some serious cardio tomorrow. The first three weeks don't have nearly enough cardio.
-
I might be misinterpreting what you're trying to say, but I've lost over 60 and I'm toning muscles.
-
I have a Sportline (again, from Kmart, $30). I've been experimenting with eating back my calories. When I had them set at 1200, I hardly ever did because I wasn't hungry. I've upped my calories to 1460 and I eat a good portion back because I'm doing much harder workouts and am usually pretty hungry, so I figure I need the…

I think part of your problem lies in not owning a HRM. You're never really sure how much you burn, so you could be over (or under) eating. Kmart has them for $30.
-
Maybe your body needs a break. Anything that shocks the body usually helps break a plateau. Try taking it easy for a day or two (and eat less calories because you won't need so many if you're not working so hard), and see if that helps.
-
I wish I could do the meal plan; she should put out a vegetarian one.
-
If you want to follow the program, do it 4-6 times per week. You add the levels (week 3 you'll do levels 1 and 2, for example). You should also do some cardio, though. I don't know if you already are, but if so, good for you.

Good job, everyone!

It's pretty much been raining here at night all week, and it was homecoming week which meant no track and way more dangerous streets. I only got in 3 miles this week. :grumble:
-
Today was supposed to be my rest day, but I wouldn't hit my goal for the week (cals burned) if I didn't do a good workout today, so I tried Fire 45 (I'm doing the hybrid, and that workout doesn't come in until week 4..I'm on week 3). SOOOO FUN! Loved it, until I twisted too hard (I really got into it, lol) and hurt my…

I think it depends on how easily you get de-railed. For me, it used to be that if I took more than one day off, it would become like 2 weeks off. If you don't lose your momentum so easily, I say get the tattoo. If you do, though, just wait awhile.
