I'm vegetarian but working on being vegan. I'm almost there except when we eat out, when I am ok with being vegetarian for now since it is proving to be the hardest part of the transition. Feel free to add me. I workout and have gained muscle.

I asked my local SBX barista if it had any dairy in the syrup/mix and she said no. It doesn't mean it's vegan necessarily, but I'll try to find out tomorrow since it is b1g1 and I'd like to give it a try.

I like Clif and Lara ALT bars. I recently made custom Element bars and tried some of their other ones and they were good. I've been meaning to try to make my own using No Meat Athlete's formula: http://www.nomeatathlete.com/homemade-energy-bar-recipe/, but I have not gotten to it yet.

I use plain oats and add cinnamon (lots, cause I LOVE cinnamon), chia seeds, and nuts or a fruit/nut mix. Not that different from your current breakfast but maybe adding something like chia seeds (which do not add much in the way of calories but can add some fiber and make it more filing) might help?

When I swam in HS I had really long hair . . . like really really long. Its super thick too. But I managed to get it into a regular silicone cap (latex ones would rip with all my hair but the silicone lasted me a season). I think I put it in a bun and then pulled on the cap. My tennis instructor basically said that exercises are best. He gave me some to do with bands, they should be easily found online with videos as they are nothing complicated. It helps strengthen the area to prevent it from hurting. Stretching also helps for me.

I like to wear my heart rate monitor to get a reading on how many calories, especially for something that is not listed. A HRM can be a great investment if you use it.
