I love this success story! You're very inspirational and I really like your attitude. Plus - you look fabulous! :)

I'm 5'11" and currently around 157lbs - looking to get to around 140 - but with much lower body fat. I've been below before but with high body fat - so the number isn't so important to me - but how I look and feel is. Try this calculator to give you an idea of where you might want to be - it takes into account frame size -…

Really fantastic NSVs here - congrats to everyone :) Mine is that I went away on two trips - about 10 days total in two weeks and ate and drank what I wanted (tracked everything though). I didn't put on a single pound! I still can't believe it. I think my metabolism is finally back in working order :)

I eat lots of eggs, some quorn, a fair bit of cottage cheese, different kinds of beans and things like quinoa instead of regular grains. I also eat fish and use that to up my protein sometimes. One thing I love are cottage cheese, egg and oat pancakes - you can eat them sweet or savoury with all sorts of different foods…

I had the best NSVs the last 10 days or so. I just finished c25k last Friday. Last Sunday I ran my first race (4.4km trail race), finished it and didn't come last! On Thursday I ran 5k for the first time (37 mins), and today I took 2.5 mins off that time for 5k! So happy :)

There are loads of great ideas above so I won't repeat those. I discovered this site - 101cookbooks.com - a little while ago and it's got lots of unusual and delicious recipes on it. Also - the veggie food pyramid above - I would recommend less fruit and starches than it has on it. Lots of veggies, pulses, tofu can be fab…

Hi, A bit late to this party - but in case anyone is looking for more ideas this recipe is super super tasty and very protein-y too! Smoked mackerel pate: 1 packet smoked mackerel - shred and remove bones. 1 carton cottage cheese. Some lemon juice & salt and pepper to taste. Eat with crackers/ryvita/bread/on it's own.....

Frame size and muscle tone obviously plays a big part. I'm 5'11" and I did not look like you at 175!!! I looked awful and very overweight. Even at 164 I don't look nearly as good as you do! I'll get there maybe in another 10lbs and lots of exercise. Aiming for around 140 with lots of muscle and much less fat!

This is what I used to be - in fact I think I may have been 135 or so at my lowest. I'm also a very slim frame so it looked really good on me. But I ate cleanly, ran every day and was fit and healthy. Now I'm still in the normal range but at the other end of it and I look awful and flabby - hate it! Aiming to get back to…

I'm a pear too - was 177lbs Jan 1st - now 162lbs. Lowest ever was around 130 - but still had flabby thighs and plenty of hip! I'm ok with that now - I like being curvy - but I'm going for a smaller overall curviness than a couple of months ago :) It's good to be a pear - it's less bad for your health than being an apple -…

Hi there :) I'm 5' 11" and I've lost 14lbs so far since Jan 1st. 14 to 20 more to go! I'll be happy with 14 (but delighted with 20!) 20 lbs is fantastic - well done!!!! It's horrible when you plateaux though isn't it! I'm losing about 1 lb a week - that suits me fine because it's pretty consistent. I'm doing it through the…
