I really struggle with weekends. We often go out to eat on weekends, and while I try to make good choices, I often end up over my daily allotment. I get right back on track every Monday, but it takes me the whole week to get back to where I was.

I don't log on vacation. I try to make good choices, most of the time, but splurge on things I don't eat everyday. I try to share, especially desserts on vacation.

According to DH's phone, we walked 6 miles on Friday and 9 miles on Saturday while in NYC for the weekend.

Went out to shovel snow today. My thermals fit nicely under my new smaller jeans.

Yup. I use kale, frozen berries and/or mango, ground flax, chia, Greek yogurt, almond milk. Lots of calcium.

I gained about 6 pounds--no logging, eating and drinking with little thought to the calories. Now I am back on track and have lost 4 of those pounds. Back to reality...

I love walking, too, but am happy when I do my 2.5 mile trek around town. I dread the winter in PA, not only the temperature, but the early darkness really interferes with my walking.

I was so sad when I found out the calorie count in a Chick Fil A milkshake. I love their Peppermint Chocolate Chip Shake in December. Now I split a small one with my husband.
