I have a garmin forerunner 305 that I bought when I was training for the half- marathon. It monitors HR but I'm trying to figure out if this will work indoors without a GPS signal - does anyone know?

I wouldn't get aggresive - it's likely to make him deny the problem even more. I'd hazard a guess that he knows it's unhealthy but possibly feels like its too big a challenge to manage to change. He's probably addicted to the sugar, and, let's face it, it's more interesting than cabbage. Try asking him to change 'one'…

I'm on week 6. Month 2 is very tough - but I've lost 15lb so far - and I'd say my diet has been 80-85% clean (tough to be perfect ALL of the time!) Feel free to add me.

I have it (NesquiK) with skimmed milk and a banana. I think it works because post-workout your body is depleted of glycogen so the sugar is used very quickly by your muscles. The protein in the milk aids muscle growth also. By having a banana with it, it give a 4:1 carb/protein ratio which is supposed to be a good thing.…

I didn't buy the shakeology stuff - no need really. Just eat ENOUGH and FREQUENTLY. I now think of my body as a furnace. If you don't put enough coal in... Also, the best recovery shake is a chocolate milk and a banana, which has a 4:1 carb protein ratio. Google "Chocolate Reocvery"

Use the harris-benedict equation but in sum, you will need to eat more than you normally would and eat 5 times a day. :-)
