  • :noway: Can you believe that even after a total hysterectomy that I STILL see weight gain around that TOM? Crazy, I know, but that's the only way to explain the fluctuations!! Don't worry. I agree with the others. Don't weigh now. Just wait. Promise you will drop that as soon as TOM leaves.
  • Good Law! You look like a different person altogether! You go, Girl! Good job! Impressive!
  • Had it for about 3 or 4 years now. It's not bad - doesn't keep me in the bed like some others I've talked to, however it's a pain (pun intended) when it acts up. Seems to me that if I can get my workouts in, I have less symptoms than if I don't. Even on my extreme days, I still try to get in at least a good stretch.
  • Wow, 6 months? Good job for you. Glad to see you have done so well. You look great - you should be very proud!:drinker:

  • So, if you look at the top of the page, you'll see "My Topics", click on that & you will be taken to a page that has the last 25 topics that you've posted in. This one should be in there. That way you don't get "lost". HTH:flowerforyou: Vet

  • Yep Darlington is definitely Pee Dee & surrounding area. I'm not far from there at all! About 20 or 30 minutes actually! Wow, what a small world.
  • I started May 30...close enough for me, close enough for y'all? I'm actually still in my "2nd" week as I got a cold in my "real" second week & had to back off some of my exercises, etc. So, I'm calling the 3rd week my second (re-do)! Can I take part too?
  • South Carolina here too! What part? I'm in Pee Dee Area.
  • Good for YOU!! Congrats! I'm proud of you.:drinker:

  • Sounds like lactose intolerant to me. Try lactaid & see if that helps. There is also a natural diary digestive enzyme that helps if you chew it up with the first bite (I love ice cream but the only thing that doesn't kill me is sherbet - unless I eat that enzyme pill - can't remember the name of it, but I'll try to find…
  • why, of course, anytime! hope you remember it when you need it! :drinker:
  • Nah, don't worry about the 1 pancake. Just exercise it off! Besides, it's just a pancake, for goodness sake. Before we logged everything in MFP, we'd eat 2 or 3 of them & think nothing of it. Not trying to "downplay" the way you feel cuz I just went thru this same situation yesterday (met some family for lunch at IHOP, had…
  • OMG! Talk about inspiration! Wow! You rock. Glad you are doing so well with it. :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Just an update...it's now Monday. Still no cigarette since Friday @ 3:30pm. They say it takes 3 days for the "leftover" nicotine to leave your body so I'll be officially "nicotine free" today @ 3:30! I'm so proud of myself for this! I had been a smoker for 20 yrs. We even went out for…
  • Me too! So, I'm here if you need me. How are you doing? Did you get something to help or are you disciplined enough to do it alone? I'm not! The chantex is helping though!
  • I don't know about 3000 to 4000, but if you start with resting metabolic rate (to live & breathe) at 254 lbs it would equal 2540 cal per day. Then you have to factor in your activity burn for "moving around" (like your job, if it is an active position or sedentary), etc. which is usually 20% of your cal from the RMR =508,…
